Chapter 28

Mouse P.O.V

Peanut gone be alright! Dr. Lansing told us we brought him just in time. Mya never left Peanuts side. Marina, Trina, Mariah, Kayla, Charley, Tristan, Mike and Devin all came up here. "I'm good" Peanut said dozing off. They had him doped up. Marina pulled me to the side. The look on her face told me what she was about to say. "Y'all gotta stop doing this! He could've died or that could've been you in there!" she snapped. "But he didn't die and how else we gone make it? I'm supporting my whole family, they depending on me" I stressed. Marina dropped it but she was still pouting. I pulled her into me. "Bestfriend put yo lip in, I'm alright" Peanut said weakly. "No you're not!" Trina snapped. Kayla and Mariah agreed. Ma Dearest walked in with Markease. "I don't need no sympathy" Peanut said fighting to stay awake. "Drop that tough guy shit! We yo family rather you like it or not!" Markease snapped. Marina and Trina looked like they wanted to say some. Charley shook his head and they both rolled their eyes. "Don't y'all got school in the morning?" Bonez asked walking in the room dismissing us. The girls swarmed around Peanut saying their goodbyes. I walked up last and shoom up with him. His chest was patched up from the surgery. "I'll be home tomorrow" Peanut said smiling. I laughed. "Come on Mya" I said. She didn't wanna leave Peanuts side though. "Peanut motioned for her to come closer and he whispered something in her ear. Mya smiled as stray tears fell. Kayla walked over and grabbed her hand. All the girls wiped her tears and assured her everything was gonna be okay. Trap walked in and we left.

Marina and Mya rode with me, everybody else was in the car with Charley. We dropped Mya off first. "Can I stay at your house tonight?" Marina asked. "Big Jayson wouldn't like that" I said. "But he thinks I'm at Riah's" Marina said. I shrugged and headed home. Everybody in my house was sleep besides my parents. And they actually weren't high. They were sitting in front of our fireplace drinking wine and laughing. "Don't you think its kind of late for company Tremaine?" my mom asked. "We're just going to bed ma chill" I said getting irritated. "Leave the boy alone, he's a good kid" my dad said. I led Marina to my room closed the door, either Junie was somewhere laid up or he was in the girls room sleep. I gave Marina a pair of my boxers and a T-shirt to put on. I went to go check on the girls and just as I suspected, Junie was fast asleep on the floor between their beds. I closed the door and got in the bed with Marina, she was already sleep.

Trap P.O.V

Monica held my hand as they coached her to push. When I saw baby Alanna's head and my heart started racing. The biggest smile spread across my face as they pulled her out. Monica fell backwards and caught her breath. Alanna screamed as they wiped her off and checked her out. I cut umbilical cord and they laid Alanna on Monica's chest. Her grey eyes were identical to mine. But she came out dark like Monica. I stared down at them and smiled. "Hey mama" I whispered as Alanna stared me in my eyes. Monica looked like she had a natural high. "Alanna Karina" she said smiling down at Alanna and kissing her forehead.

Monica was getting some rest and they took Alanna for a hearing test. Bonez and Money walked in the room with a teddy bear and some balloons. I held my finger to my lips and pointed at Monica. "Where lil Alanna at?" Money asked. The nurse rolled Alanna back in, Money and Bonez washed their hands so they could hold her. Money grabbed her first. "All she do is smile, she ain't cried since she first came out" I said. "Hey lady" Bonez said as Alanna grabbed his pinky finger. Money rocked her and smiled at her. The room door opened and Keisha walked in with flowers. "Who is that?" Bonez asked. "Capone best friend and Trap baby mama" Money said smirking. "Lil Keisha done grew up!" Bonez said looking Keisha up and down. Monica lazily opened her eyes and smiled at Keisha. "How you feeling?" Keisha asked handing Monica the flowers. "Better now that I Can FINALLY hold Alanna" Monica said. Monica's people walked in. "Let's let them get some time, Monica I'll be back after I make sure Tray straight" I said taking Alanna from Money and handing her to Monica. I kissed her and Alanna both on their cheeks. Her parents mugged the hell out of me and so did all three of her sisters. We walked out and I walked Keisha to her truck. "What you bouta do?" I asked her. "I gotta go to work" Keisha said. "I'll be up there with lunch for you" I said. I kissed Keisha and she pulled off.
