Chapter 25

Mouse P.O.V

I pulled up in front of Mya's house and she got out. Peanut walked her to the door. I watched as she kissed Peanut on his cheek and then she went in the house. Peanut walked back to the car, going home or you wanna roll with me?" I asked. "I'll roll, Bonez said he wouldn't be home till late" Peanut said. I pulled off and we pulled up to Riah's house. Marina and Trina were sitting on the porch laughing. I blew the horn and Peanut got out. They ran up to him and hugged him. I got out and Marina walked up to me and kissed me. "Hey handsome" Marina said. "I missed you" I said pulling her into me. "How was the party?" she asked. "It would've been better if I could've brought you" I said. Charley pulled up with Mike, Devin, Mariah and Kayla. Trina looked at Charley and nodded. "Damn!" Charley mumbled walking up to the porch. "What's going on now" I asked Devin. "Trina pregnant" he said. "Devin, that's none of your business!" Marian snapped. "You good Trina?" Peanut asked. "Yeah I'm straight" Trina shrugged. I walked to her and put my arm around her shoulder leading her away. "You not good" I said softly. Trina burst out crying. I wiped her tears and kept my back to everybody else. "I don't know what I'm going to do, my mom is going to kill me when she finds out and to make matters worse their parents are on a binge again!" Trina sobbed. "They been staying with y'all again?" I asked. Trina nodded. "If push come to shove my house got more than enough space" I said.

Charley hadn't said a word and it'd been almost two hours since Trina told him. Everybody was on edge because Charley isn't and has never been the silent type. "What's on yo mind Charles?" Mike asked trying to include him in our conversation. "Girls come in the house with me, its getting kinda late" Marina said. I looked at the time and it was 2:30am. After they went in the house and closed the door Charley finally spoke. "We not ready for no kid, me and Tristan barely got a stable place to lay our heads!" he said. "Its always our house or even Mouse's. We not gone see y'all out there like that!" Mike said. Devin nodded in agreement. "I don't want Trina to feel like I don't want the baby because I would love a mini Charley, but if I can't provide I might as well not be a father!" Charley said. "I don't even know why you stressing cause the Charley I know always make it happen! It ain't a time when I needed you that you ain't come through!" I stressed. "But this different if I let you down you would've understood and we would've shook that shit off! But I can't look my child in the face and say I ain't got it" Charley said putting his head down. "Charley we gone be alright, if I gotta get a job I will" Trina said. We didn't even notice her come out. "You not working while you pregnant, I will never allow you to do that! I'm the man, that's my job I'm supposed to provide" Charley stressed. "Charley you got too much pride, I'm not gone watch you struggle to make a way for us!" Trina snapped. We all got quiet and waited for Charley's response. "What kind of man can't provide Trina? Tell me that" Charley said looking Trina in the eyes. "You're not a man yet Charles, we're only 16. I don't expect the world from you, the simple things like your time are enough for me" Trina said softly. Charley stood up so that they were face to face. He grabbed her and pulled her into him, "Time ain't gone take care of a baby" he whispered.

Trap P.O.V

When I got home I found a note on the table and food in the microwave. I read the note and ate. I hopped in the guest shower and then quietly slipped in bed. Monica felt me and scooted towards me. "How was the party?" she asked sleepily. "Fine, I'm glad to be home in bed with you" I whispered. "I picked up Tray from Courtney, she wanted to talk and then Tray asked could he come back with me" Monica said. I popped my eyes open and sat up. "What did she wanna talk about?" I asked. "Basically we squashed whatever animosity we had for each other" Monica said pulling me back down. I laid back down. "I'm glad we all can finally get along" I said. Monica kissed my lips and then drifted off. I followed not too long after.

Trayvon woke me up bright and early, reminding about the trip to the game store I had promised. "How about we at least get breakfast first" I said smelling Monica's cooking. Tray ran to the front and I laid back down. Soon as I started drifting off my phone vibrated. I huffed and grabbed my phone. "Shit better be important!" I mumbled. Capone's name popped up and I instantly got annoyed. All he wanted was advice on his crazy baby mama Amber. Soon as I closed my eyes Tray rushed in the room. "I ate all my food, can we go now?" he asked. I got up reluctantly and got dressed. "Two games Tray!" I warned him. "I know dad" Tray said. We bumped into Capone, he was with Keisha. Tray ran up to Capone and hugged him. Keisha turned around and looked at me and quickly turned away, but not before I saw her baby bump poking. "Pone i gotta use the bathroom" she said quickly making a bee line to the girls restroom. I followed her. "Keisha you pregnant?" I asked stopping her at the door. "I'm not asking for no help" she said. I frowned. "You think I ain't gone be there for my kid?" I asked. "You got Monica and drama with Courtney, I just don't wanna be in the middle" Keisha said. "So you wasn't even gone tell me?" I asked. My feelings was damn near hurt. "Eventually and if I decide to keep it" Keisha said. "What you mean?" I asked. "I was thinking about adoption Anthony, I'm not ready for this" Keisha said as stray tears began to fall.

Riah P.O.V

Malik called me out of the blue and I invited him over. "I missed you" Malik said smiling and showing his dimple. I almost melted, I hadn't seen him since Riley was 3 months old. I sat on his lap, wrapping my legs around his waist. "I missed you too, you just up and cut me off" I said rubbing my hand over his waves. "Naw you got back with ya mans and left me looking dumb yo" Malik said. "Well I'm single and I want my Lik back" I said kissing his lips. "Riah I ain't got time for games, if you gone still be fucking him tell me now. I rolled my eyes and got up. "He don't even live here no more, he back in his old house and trying to make it work with his other baby mama" I said. "Come here, you know I like that attitude shit" Malik said. I playfully rolled my eyes and allowed him to pull me back down on his lap.

Bonez walked in and went straight upstairs. By the look on his face I could tell he was irritated about something. Malik had fallen asleep on the couch in the middle of our movie. I got up and went upstairs. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "Nothing just thinking about Saniah, you got they stuff packed?" Bonez asked picking up Jr and then Riley. "Yeah let me help you get them to the car" I said. When we got downstairs Mouse and Marina were walking in. "Where y'all coming from?" I asked. "No where we just was spending some one on one" Marina said smiling at Mouse. "I hope condoms were being used" Bonez said looking at Mouse. "It wasn't even like that" Mouse said. "You're lying" me and Bonez said in unison. Malik woke up and rubbed his eyes. "Here Mouse take these outside to Bonez" I said handing him the kids over night bags. They walked out and I went over to Malik. "Damn I ain't know you had another twin" Malik said looking at Marina. "That's my baby sister Marina, Marina this is Malik" I said. Marina smiled and waved and then waited for Mouse to come back in.

Candace P.O.V

Monie kissed my cheek and smiled at me. "What weirdo?" I asked laughing. "Nothing, I can't kiss you?" Monie asked. "You better kiss me or I'm gone think you don't like me no more" I joked. Destiny was sprawled out on Monie's couch. We'd been out shopping all day and she was worn out. I stood up and stretched. "I'm gonna get Destiny home, but I'll be back tonight for a night cap" I said pulling him up and hugging him. His 6 foot frame towered over me. I inhaled his cologne and closed my eyes. "You can let go any time now" Monie joked. "I don't wanna leave" I whined. "Then don't" Monie said hugging me tighter. "Money wants Destiny and plus I gotta stop by my moms before I drop her off" I said finally letting go.

My mom didn't answer so I went straight home. Money and Trap were outside hooping. Some little pretty chocolate pregnant girl was talking to Simone as they watched. Destiny hopped out the car and ran in the house to find her brothers. "Hey boo" Simone said waving me over. I walked over to her and sat on her lap since the mystery girl was in my usual seat. "This is Keisha" Simone said. She smiled and said hey. "You're so cute pregnant" I said. "Thanks" Keisha said as her cheeks turned rosy from blushing. Trap walked over and grabbed a towel off Keisha's lap and wiped sweat from his face. "Sup Candace, you bet not be bothering my baby mama" he joked. "How many kids do you have nigga?" I asked shaking my head. "I'm tryna get up there with Money" Trap said laughing. "I'm done nigga" Money said going in the house. "Well I'm staying at Monie's tonight so I'm bouta go pack a bag" I announced. "Money gone beat yo ass" Trap said. "He ain't gone do shit, Monie is her man" Simone said laughing and following me in.
