Chapter 24

Courtney P.O.V

Trap asked me would it be cool if Tray came home for the night. So me and Tray planned a night. "Mom you know I'm gone have a little sister soon" Tray said. "She's having a girl?" I asked. Apart of me was jealous because when I first found out I was pregnant I wanted a girl. I pushed those thoughts out of my head. I was blessed with a baby boy and I'm gonna raise him to be a young king! Jeremy walked in the house and I jumped into his arms. "Why are you back so soon?" I asked kissing his lips. "Long story, some just came up and now I'm back" Jeremy said. "Wassup Jeremy?" Tray asked. "Wassup lil man, you ain't with yo daddy this week?" Jeremy asked. "He got some to handle tonight, but he'll be back to pick me up in the morning" Tray said. "Go upstairs with Riley and play" I said. Tray hopped up and went to find his best friend. "Its crazy how close they is, what if they grow up and wanna be together?" Jeremy joked. I playfully smacked the back of his head. "We raising them like family" I said. "Gates fucked his cousin" Jeremy said laughing. "Trayvon ain't gone be shit like Gates, my baby is a gentleman" I said. "Gates is to when he wanna be, but anyway what we doing tonight?" Jeremy asked. I shrugged. "Date?" Jeremy asked. "What about Tray?" I asked. "My lil nigga welcome to join!" Jeremy said.

Riah pouted around the house like a spoiled three year old that had been told no. "What's wrong?" I asked. She sat on the couch and sighed loudly. "Jayriah what the hell is wrong with you?" I asked again. "I'm sexually frustrated!" Riah whined. "Call Bonez and get some dick real quick" I said. "Bonez and Kris back together or whatever" Riah said rolling her eyes. "Sooo call somebody up then!" I said. "Like who?" Riah asked. "What about Montez?" I asked. Montez and Riah went out for three years before she got with Bonez. "I don't got that nigga number no more, and what if the sex is wack?" Riah asked. "All them stories we heard about him back then, I bet the sex bomb! And here I got his number for you last week" I said. "Last week? And yo ass just now telling me!" Riah said. "Bitch I had to ease the idea in yo head first!" I said laughing. "Well what's his number cause I'm about to hit him up right now!" Riah said. I gave her my phone so she could get the number and text him. "Bitch is this Trap dick?" Riah asked. I snatched my phone and studied the picture. "Why yo nosey ass going through my pictures? And yes that's Trap, I forgot this was in here" I said laughing. "No wonder yo ass was stuck on that nigga" Riah said laughing. Marina and Trina came in the house laughing and whispering. "What y'all laughing about?" Riah asked. "Peanut" Trina said. Riah's phone chimed and she jumped up and skipped upstairs. "Trick" I mumbled laughing.

Candace P.O.V

Simone and Monie argued over which rapper was in right now while I cooked. Money walked in and spoke. He went straight to the back and got dressed. "Simone get the kids" I said. Money walked in the kitchen and grabbed a water out the fridge. He walked behind me and kissed my cheek. "You got it smelling good Candy" he said leaving out the kitchen. Simone stopped him at the door and walked him out. "Monie, come help me make some plates for the kids" I said. I made chicken, mashed potatoes, and sweet corn. Monie held the plates while I portioned everything out. "Figured out what you wanted to do?" Monie asked. "Dinner and a movie sounds just fine" I said. "Cool" Monie said. Simone agreed to watch the kids so me and Monie could have our time together. Monie kissed my lips and smiled. "I'm so infatuated with you" he said. I blushed. "Me too" I said. "Break all this up and get up outta here" Simone said. I kissed Destiny and told everybody to be good.

Monie took me to Applebee's and we sat down and had margaritas. "How you been feeling?" Monie asked. I smiled, "You been with me everyday, I'm fine" I said. Monie looked me in my eyes. "I mean on the inside" he said. I looked away and shrugged. "I'm sorry for bringing it up" Monie said. I hadn't spoken about Camden to anyone, not even Money. It was bad enough anytime I was around Capo I heard his name, because he'd named his other son Camden. "Its fine, I just been blocking it out" I said. "Anyway you look beautiful tonight and I'm glad you agreed to come out with me" Monie said. I smiled. "Thank you" I said. "For what?" Monie asked. "Because you've been there every time I've needed you, even when I expected Money to be my emotional support" I said tearing up. Monie got up and sat next to me in the booth. "No matter what, you and Destiny got me. I promise" Monie said sticking out his pinky. It was corny but it made me smile. I hooked my pinky with his and we made a pinky promise. "Now let's get up out of here and catch our movie" Monie said.

Rian P.O.V

Kristen was growing over night or at least it seemed like it. Time was flying too so I was working more, which meant I was away from home more. But tonight I called off because, I knew she's been overwhelmed dealing with Ja'Raigna all week by herself. Luckily Layla was taking on a bigger role in JJ's life and getting him every other week. I left like I was going to work and stopped at the store and got a few things for the night I had planned for Kristen. My phone rung and I answered without checking the caller ID. "Wassup?" I asked. "Hey baby, JJ and Raigna home?" Riah asked. "JJ with his mama, but Raigna there" I said. "Okay, I'm about to go get her! Tray and Riley been asking about her" Riah said. "Good, cause she been stressed all week" I said. "If y'all ever want her to come stay with me she can, I know Kristen only a few weeks away from having the baby" Riah said. "Yeah just 4 weeks" I said. We hung up and I grabbed a few more things and got ready to check out. I got in line and out the corner of my eye I saw Marina and her friends. "I need to grab a few more things can you watch this cart for me?" I asked this woman in front of me. She nodded and I went in the direction I had seen Marina. I found them in the family planning aisle and my heart dropped. Marina's friend grabbed a pregnancy test and read the box, Marina grabbed condoms. "What y'all doing?" I asked. They both hid the stuff behind their backs. "Nothing" they said in unison.

After Marina and Trina begged me not to say anything they told me Mariah thought she was pregnant. I didn't care as long as it wasn't Marina! I left and headed home, when I pulled up Riah was pulling off. She blew her horn at me and kept going. I crept in the house and up the stairs. Kristen was on the phone and had it on speaker. "No he works every night, we really need the money" Kristen said. "I thought everything was good" a voice that could only have been her sister Katrina said. "It is but we have Jr and Ja'Raigna full time, so we got a house full" Kristen said. "So you basically playing mommy to two other kids? Where's the little boys mom?" Katrina asked. "She just stepped back in the picture so its really been just me and Raigna. She's no problem I just be so overwhelmed. But I can't complain Jay'Rian make sure we straight" Kristen said. I set up the bathroom quietly still listening to Kristen's conversation. "You got a good one, shit don't he got a brother?" Katrina joked. Kristen laughed, "Bye Katrina I'm about to go take a bath and wait for my baby to get off" Kristen said. I met her at the bathroom door and she jumped. "What are you doing home?" Kristen asked jumping in my arms. "I tool a night off to cater to you, I know the kids can be a handful especially since you're with them 24/7" I said. Kristen looked at the rose petals and candles. I turned on the water and watched our Jacuzzi styled tub fill up. I dropped a bath bomb in the water and watched it fiz up. "Tonight all about you" I said as I watched her strip.

Bonez P.O.V

"What the hell Mya doing, we gone be late!" I said pacing the living room of the trap. "You know girls take forever" Mouse said laughing. "Peanut go get your little girlfriend" Bonez said. Mya walked out the bathroom and into the living room. Her ballroom gown was flawless. "There ain't no way Big Poppa won't notice you!" I said. "Peanut close your mouth boy" Mouse said laughing. Peanut ignored him and gave Mya his arm. "You look beautiful" Peanut whispered. I adjusted my tie and laughed, puppy love is a mafucka. A limo was parked outside, the whole hood was out because the limo was out of place. "Look at you lil niggas looking spiffy" one of the old heads called out. We got in the limo and I broke it down for them. "Peanut you can't show no interest in Mya at all! And give her the necklace you bugged. Mya Big Poppa gone give you a tour around the house, I need you catching everything with that camera!" I stressed. Mya nodded as Peanut secured the necklace around her neck. I looked at Mouse, I already knew he would be on his game so I didn't bother saying anything to him.

Big Poppa greeted us at the door, Mya caught his eye just like we'd planned. He adjusted his bowtie and offered his arm to her. "You look beautiful" Big Poppa said. We followed him in, everybody was casually mingling. Mouse popped it off by asking about a bathroom. Big Poppa pointed him in the direction but he kept his eyes on Mya. Big Poppa's daughter eyed Peanut. I nodded in her direction and he parted his way. "I'm going to go mingle and grab a drink, take care of our baby girl" I said winking at Mya. I spotted Money and I walked over to him. "What you got?" I asked looking around. "Roulette took control, its basically done. I just need Mya to do her part!" Money whispered and smiled. We both waved at a group of girls. "Cool" I said grabbing a drink and making my way over to a new potential fuck buddy.
