Chapter 17 - EDITED

"Wake up" was the first thing I heard and next thing I knew, someone had slapped me.

"DIANA!!," I screeched awake as I clutched my now probably swollen cheek, my handsome face...

Right now, you're probably wondering about two things:

1. Wait, who's POV is this?

2. When was 'Diana' ever introduced??

Well, to start it off, I'm the awesome character that always breaks the fourth wall, Sky!! Next, from last where we left off, remember that one lady that somehow managed to land feet first right in front of me? Her names Diana and she's my best friend!

"Hurry up she-male!" she yelled from down the hallway.

Scratch that, she's not my best friend anymore. She's demoted to an acquaintance. We're just acquaintances...

Anyways, let's see...Diana the acquaintance here is actually the Princess of the Amazons or otherwise known as WonderWoman. She graciously brought me to her people, and by that I mean knocking me out after tying me up with that magical rope of hers, and they in turn treated me like the king I was, after I told then I was a king myself of course.

They then treated me like the king I was and supposed to be, obeying my every order and whim. However, something is wrong here, very horribly wrong...why am I being tied up again!?

"Hey! Diana!!," I screamed as she tightened her rope around me, "What are you doing!?"

Diana looked up from what she was doing and just as I expected, she knocked me out. It's her way of bringing someone from one place to another, I guess.

*sighs* Hello darkness my old friend~

We are now on an island, in the middle of nowhere of course.

"Aye, sorry Jets, the storms was too ruffs and if we continues sailings, we will dies!" Barney lamented and apologized to me at the same time.

"It's fine Barney," I consoled, "it isn't your fault that that freaky storm came out from nowhere. It's a normal occurrence at sea, don't beat yourself up about it."

"I know, it's just-it's been so long since we last saw each other and I want to make this trip worthwhile you know?" Barney spoke sincerely this time.

How do I know that? He spoke perfectly fine without his accent.

"I know how that feels too Barney, I miss having all of us together and going on those adventures around the world." I smiled, placing my hand on Barney's back.

He smiled too at those memories that we had, battling monsters, stealing pigs, eating all the delicious food and most of all, when Ross did something ridiculous.

"Remem-urgh.." I was about to speak when a pain, a pain that felt like a thousand needles attacking my legs at once occurred. I was in too much pain to speak, too much pain to stand, the pain was unbearable.

"Jets!!" Barney shouted, surprised etched in his voice. He knows what I need, he was the one that knows what to do whenever this happens to me. With swift practice, he swept me up into his arms and carried me to the ocean, gently placing me in the cold water, then, my legs started to meld together and fish-like scales replaced the skin that was once there.

"Wow, Jets! You scares me there!" Barney laughed a little as he placed a hand to his heart to calm himself down.

This was a normal occurrence to the both of us ,whenever I'm near at sea for a long period of time, I get water withdrawals. Since I'm part mermaid, I need the feel the sea around me every once in a while, it's like an instinct that my body has whenever I'm near the sea.
