Authors note~

Hey! For reading this story, you are awesome! 100 reads? Wow... And its all thanks to you!

I love writing this story and I love that it is read and I hope you enjoy reading.

Just so you know, Séamus is pronounced Shaymus. Its an Irish name. Don't you just love St. Pat?

Anyway your probably wondering what Saoirse and the rest are doing. So I'll let you go and read the story...

...

'How long was I asleep?' I asked.

'For as much as I can say... Three Suns. But thats as long as I've been awake.'

'What do you mean?'

We sat in the tent talking. The sun was long gone and as far as I could tell the camp lay sleeping around big fires. There were no gaurds standing by the tent but we had no weapons.

'I was hit as well Saoirse...'

We had given up the act of Séamus. They knew I was a girl if I had new undergarments on.

'Did they do anything to you?'

She knew what I meant instantly. She wouldn't meet my eye when she spoke, but then, how could you in this darkness.

'No. They wouln't da-' She caught herself mid sentence.

'I know your hiding something Elizabeth,' I said wearily. 'You might as well spit it out.'

I was tired of the lie that she held and I wished that she would tell me.

'Not here, not now.'

I was losing my patience.

'Why not? Why not here? Why not now? Its not like we're going to live for another week!'

'Don't be too harsh on yourself. Its not your fault that we are stuck here...'

'Then who's?' The lump in my throat grew with each word I wispered.

'William shouldn't have charged at them.'

'Don't blame it on him! It isn't as if he asked for the raiders to come!'

'Isn't it though? He was on gaurd! He didn't wake the rest until it was too late! Doesn't that sound strange to you?!'

Silent tears ran down my cheeks as I choked out the only words that came to mind, 'There has to be a better explaination!'

'Oh yes, forgive me, I forgot you two were in love.' She said it without emotion and my jaw dropped to the ground.

'Wh-What are y-you s-saying?'

'You know what I'm saying.'

'Wat do you have against him?!'

'Against William? Nothing. Agaisnt men? Everything.'

I blinked in disbelief.

'I wouldn't understand you to understand. You are a woman.'
