Act XV

Jiyuu's POV

'Do you, by any chance, have feelings for me?'

Why did I have to say that?

I massaged my temples in an attempt to calm myself. The soft breeze of the outside helped me soothe my nerves too, as I stared out the balcony to calm down.

How could I even say that so casually?

Now that I realize what I have said, my heart beat faster than ever before.

I'm such an idiot. Asking if he has feelings for me like that.

Does he?

"Argh, get ahold of yourself, Jiyuu!"

I sighed and looked out the balcony, and tried to shake those thoughts away to concentrate on my battle with the Mahika Dilim.

Kageyama's POV

"General, I need your advice. Should we initiate our first attack against Aoba Johsai now?" I asked the General.

General Sawamura looked at me, confused and clearly didn't know what to do.

Like me.

"Need any help?"

A figure leaned against the doorway, a familiar smirk chiseled in its visage.

She's here.

I can't even look her in the eyes. Is it about what she said earlier?

Keep your cool, Tobio. It was just a silly question to keep you off-guard. Don't take it seriously.

Just. Keep. Calm.

She made her way towards me and the General, her smirk never fazing, as if nothing happened earlier.

The General, however, has his eyes fixated on her violet eyes, shocked as he saw her abnormal irises, realizing that she is a Mahika. A Mahika that could help us during war.

"We need some help.. About Aoba Johsai." I said, trying to keep my cool.

She hummed, asking me to continue speaking.

"We're planning an attack against the kingdom, the problem is, when and how should we attack them." I said.

She thought for a while, and produced a pen and paper out of thin air, and asked me to draw the locations of Aoba Johsai's Military Bases.

I sighed and sketched the locations as she looked on. The General peeked at what I was doing, confused as I am.

Then, her finger landed on the Military Base next to the border.

"We attack there, at 3:30 AM today." she said after a snap of a finger.

I wanted to protest, but the General's eyes lit up, like he discovered something amazing.

"The Mahika's right Your Majesty." he said, trembling, not getting over the fact that a Mahika like her could help.

She smirked, as the General proved to me that she was right.

"The Aoba Johsai Base-Militar 1's forces shut down after 2:30 AM. Attack at 3:30 AM will be possible with high chances of victory." the General said.

With much thinking and reflecting, I stood up, and drew my sword.

"I, Kageyama Tobio, Tenth King of Karasuno, launch my first attack against enemy, Aoba Johsai."

Let the war, begin.

Short but... pretty tense.
