Jiyuu's POV

I knew it.

We'd win this thing.

Triumphant shouts from the Royal Guard were heard as the dust settled in the battlefield to reveal the Base-Militar 1 reduced to rubble.

The king looked at me amidst the joy, and managed a small smile (or grimace).

"We did it. Thank you." he whispered.

I couldn't contain my happiness, and gave him a grin.
---------

The moment the king collapsed in his seat in the carriage, he fell fast asleep.

Cute.

Wait, what?

I saw Hinata fall asleep beside me, again. I counted that as an advantage.

It was weird, but I stared at the king.

He had a few cuts on his face as a result from battle, his azure eyes covered by his eyelids, the look on his face was relaxed, unlike his normal scowl on his visage, slightly chapped lips parted as he drew in long breaths, head tilted to the side as he slumbered, face framed by ebony locks that looked soft to touch—

Argh, what am I thinking?

I directed my gaze to the window, heat rising to my cheeks as I did so. I mentally slapped myself for my stares at him.

Stop acting like this, Jiyuu.

For moments, I looked at the scenery by the window, before my eyes turned to steal a glance from him.

And there he was, staring at me.

Our eyes locked for a moment, then, I broke off eye contact by staring again at the window, aware of the shade of scarlet splashed across my face.

Damn, Jiyuu, why glance at him again?

"You were staring at me." he said so casually.

I cleared my throat and never met his eyes, as I continued to glance at the window in shame.

"I-I was not! Excuse me, I would rather die than stare at you!" I countered.

I heard him chuckle at my reply. Damn you, Kageyama.. argh!

"You stuttered." he stated.
"Did not!" I yelled.
"Did too." he muttered.

I held my gaze at the view outside, like it was the only one that could help me at times like this.

"Did not!" I yelled once more.
"Did too." he said, quietly this time.

Why do I feel that he's close to me?

I immediately regretted my decision to turn around.

Centimeters apart.
That was our distance.

Close enough to—

"Explosion!"

I pushed him away, and I rushed outside the carriage.

And I saw destruction.

The Mahika Dilim are here.

"What's happening?" Takeda asked me.
"Revolution."

I saw the Royal Guard and the Military Regiment advance, but I yelled.

"Stay where you are! I'll deal with this."

Perhaps they got too impatient.

I'll fix this.

"Jiyuu!" I heard the king yell.
"Don't ever try to stop me!" I hissed at him.

No one will get in my way, not even the king.

I climbed a nearby tree and sat on one of the branches.

Concentrate.

I took a deep breath.

Anyo ay magbago, Mahika Dilim gawing Mahika Blanca.(1)

The sound of the snap of my fingers resonated, and one by one, the Mahika Dilim turn to Mahika Blanca, and fix the destruction they have made.

That is the only way I can stop them without hurting them.

Traydor(2).

No.

Isa kang traydor(3).

I missed someone.

I can't perform the spell again.

Magsisi ka, Mahika Blanca!(4)

"Stop it!"

Darkness shrouded over me, with the bitterness of the Mahika Dilim's voice resonating in my mind.
