Kageyama's POV

It's been two weeks. The search party hasn't returned. For two weeks she hasn't shown up. For two weeks, I didn't even eat a full meal. For two weeks, I lay in my room, locked from the world.

For two weeks, I cried.

I looked out of shape, dark circles under my eyes, reddened orbs from weeping, and everything in between.

I looked horrible.

Let me find you, this thought always resonated in my mind.

"Your Highness."

Takeda implored entrance to my room, and I said a faint, "Come in," and opened the door in the process.

My adviser strode inside my room, with a tray in hand. His eyes pleaded me to partake of the food on the tray, but I shook my head and proceeded to bury myself in pillows and blankets.

"Your Highness, you should proceed to your duties as king. For two weeks, I have been acting as your substitute. You wouldn't want that, would you?" he said.

I shook my head, but went deeper into the mess of pillows and blankets, letting me bask in sorrow.

"I can't work like this, Takeda." I groaned.

Takeda sighed, and set down the tray on my nightstand and proceeded to leave.

"You just have to try, sire." he said.

The door clicked shut, and Inwas alone once more.

Let me find you, my final thought before I succumbed to rest.

Jiyuu's POV

"Some tea, my lady."

I stared at the butler for a long time. The butler looked freakishly familiar, as if he was—

"My lady?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and accepted the cup of tea he held out.

"Forgive me. You looked like... someone I know." I said hesitantly, the first words coming out of my mouth in weeks.
"No harm done, my lady. Excuse me, but I have to attend to my lord's needs." he said, and hurriedly went away from my room.

I sipped my tea, and was deep in thought as I saw the last of his tailcoat disappear.

Iwaizumi Hajime, just who are you?

"Jiyuu?"

Oikawa appeared at the doorway, a smile on his lips. I didn't smile.

"Do you want a walk around the gardens to clear your head?"

I shook my head, and sipped my tea.

I don't want a walk to clear my head. I just want to stay here, sleep my worries away and cry everything away.

"What do you want?" he asked, sitting beside me.

I wanted nothing.

But he still handed me a parcel, smiled, and went on his way.

Another parcel left unopened.

He cared for me, but I would always turn away and not give him a chance.

Would I give it a shot?

Would I give him a chance?

Would I be left crying again?

I just don't know what to do anymore.
