Em's POV -

I was so nervous for today; I was going to discover if I had got the job that I wanted or not.

I'd had the e-mail telling me that the final decision was going to be made today and I was going to be taken into a room with the other four people who had applied; we were all going to be told together who had got the position.

That just made me even more nervous because I was almost certain that I hadn't got the job, but I was just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that they were willing to give me the chance to prove myself; but that wasn't likely since I never got anything that I wanted.

I was considered the unlucky one of the family because I was the only one to be rejected from every single job I had applied for. I was the only one to not have a boyfriend. I was the only one who was yet to do something that made my family proud of me.

"Dara, have you seen my shoes?" I shouted up the stairs as I rushed around the place looking for them.

"Sorry, I forgot to put them back when I last borrowed them." she shouted back sarcastically back at me.

Dara.

The ever helpful older sister that I had; she already had her job as a make-up artist and she had a boyfriend as well - his name was Josh or James or Jason or something like that, I never remembered what he was called because she never really talked about him that much.

"I was only asking if you had seen them." I replied.

"Well, if you put them away when you had finished with them, we wouldn't have this problem now. Would we?" she questioned.

"Look, have you seen them or not because I'm supposed to be leaving now?" I asked her again, taking a quick look at the time to see that I had half hour to get there.

I'd be surprised if I made it there on time because, every other time I've been there, it's taken me nearly an hour to get there from the house; and if I was late, then that wasn't going to make a very good impression for me.

"Just borrow mine. They're in the living room." she sighed.

"Thank you." I said as I walked into the living room to see the shoes that she was talking about, they were her favourite hi-tops and she had never let me borrow them before since she bought them; but I wasn't going to complain and I wasn't going to ask questions about them either. I just accepted the offer and put them on quickly, before I grabbed my phone and keys from the table, and walking out the door. "I'm going now. I'll see you later Dara."

"See you later, and good luck Em." I heard her shout back at me just as I closed the door behind me and practically ran to my car and started the engine before I had even put my seatbelt on.

The radio came on just at the were talking to The Wanted, so I decided that I was going to turn it up and listen to it as I drove to the final stages of the interview; I loved The Wanted and they were everything to me, which is why I applied for the job in the first place, but I never thought that I was going to get this far with it.

I just thought they were going to laugh at my application, tear it up and throw it in the bin.

So, to have made it to the final five is an achievement within itself.

"So boys, we hear you're getting yourself a new assistant today?" the interviewer questioned and the boys all started laughing in unison with each other.

"Yeah. Turns out Big Kev can't handle us as well as he thought that he could." Nathan joked, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Did you have any say on who got the job then?"
