Em's POV -
I had been working for the boys just over two months now, and it has been the most amazing two months of my life; I have loved every minute of this experience and I was so proud to have this job.
They had been nothing but amazing to me, and they had even spent the time getting to know me and making sure I settled into the job without any problems.
Although, in the entire time I had been working for them, this was going to be the first time I had ever met the girlfriends. It was Tom's idea and he suggested that we all go out together so that I could get to know them and they could get to know me as well - but, to tell you the truth, I was nervous about tonight and was constantly thinking the worst.
I was thinking;
What if they didn't like me and thought that I was a bad person to be working for the boys?
What if they all thought I was trying to break up their relationships and bag one of the boys for myself?
What if they had awful thoughts about me and just didn't tell me the truth about me?
In fact, I was so nervous that I had decided to invite Mary and Callie along with me; just for moral support and everything; I was going to need someone there if I needed to break out in tears or something just like that.
"What are you so nervous about?" Callie asked me with a concerned look on her face.
"Yeah. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about, and they're all going to love you." Mary added with a smile on her face.
"And what if they all think I'm trying to get into bed with one of their boyfriends or something like that?" I panicked, throwing myself down on my bed and letting out a huge sigh at the same time.
"Look, we'll be there to make sure they don't say anything to you. And we'll prove that you're an amazing girl who really isn't interested in snatching one of their boys." Callie replied, pulling me into a hug in an attempt to stop me from panicking so much and making a big deal out of nothing.
"How about we help you get ready, yeah?" Mary smiled at me as she practically dragged me off the sofa and towards the stairs, so they could help me get ready and make myself seem like a half-decent person.
"You will look stunning by the time we're done with you." Callie grinned afterwards.
See, these two were my best friends for a reason, they were the only two people who could cheer me up when I needed it and they were the only people who actually knew how to put a smile on my face when I needed it the most; that's why I loved them and would never want to lose them.
Me and Callie met each other when I went into the pub that she worked in on a night out with Mary. When I first saw her I didn't think that we would ever get along with each other because she was the absolute opposite of me - she certainly wasn't shy when it came to introducing herself to people and she made sure that everyone knew who the hell she was.
But, once you got past the fact she got on with people straight away and she was just another friendly face, then she was actually a rather nice girl and she just wanted to be friends with people; me and Mary went back to her pub a few more times after that and Callie as soon just another member of our group.
She might be a bit mental from time to time, but I wouldn't change her for the world and I wouldn't want anyone else to be my bestfriend; she's amazing the way that she is and there's no one else I would want to be there for me.
"I'm trusting you with my future here." I smirked, opening up the wardrobe and revealing the many clothes that I had to offer in my life because I often buy things that I'm never even going to get the chance to win.
"Just, leave this to me. I'm a professional." Callie smirked as she went through my wardrobe, making weird noises at all the things she really didn't like and thought I shouldn't even own because they weren't my style, or something like that anyway. "Some of these things are really disgusting, why do you have them?"
"I just like to buy things, and then I forget they're in there." I chuckled as Callie pulled out a dress I had forgotten I had because it had been tucked away behind everything else, and I just didn't really look there for things to wear.
"You're going to look gorgeous. Callie has a real eye for these things." Mary grinned like an idiot, and I thought that she might even be right.
It made me feel like something was actually going to go right for me once and this was going to be a good night. I might find myself getting along with these five girls and find myself going home with a new set of friends tonight; but then I might be wrong and they might find something about me that they hate.
I guess only time will tell and, if they don't like me, then that's just something I'm going to have to live with.
*
"Wow. You look stunning." Mary said, almost like she was speechless and was unsure about what to say to me.
"Are you sure?" I questioned nervously.
"Yes. There's no way they can't love you." Callie said as she clapped her hands together in excitement and immediately pulled the mirror out for me to admire myself; and I was amazed by how brilliant she had managed to make me look.
My mascara and eyeliner really compliment my eyes, and then there was the lip gloss which just brought the make-up together. The dress was, well, the dress looked so much better on than I thought it would do - it was my black and white maxi dress which hung off my figure perfectly and made my curves more obvious, but I didn't mind about that and they had decided my white sparkle peeptoe heels would complete the outfit.
Callie then handed me my Satin Flowers Evening Clutch and a black short-sleeved bolero, just in case I began to feel the chill of the evening; but it just brought the entire outfit together and I would never have been able to pick something like this out for myself
That's why I love Callie and Mary so much, they help me when I need them the most and they don't make me look like an idiot - at least not all of the time they don't.
"Now, we need to get ourselves ready and then we can show those girls how to paaaaaaaaar-taaaaaay!" Mary laughed as her and Callie quickly vanished out of the room, leaving me sitting there, ready to go while they prepared themselves for the night ahead.
This was going to be one hell of night, whether the five girls liked me or not.
Em's Outfit>>
So, sorry that this isn't a very interesting part, but it's just a filler before the night out happens. I know I said I was going put drama in this part, but I thought this part was needed before the night out happens.
Anyway, let me know what you think, and vote if you like it. I love you all, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
Love and hugs,
Em:)xxx
