Shelby's POV -

Last night wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

After talking to Em and getting to know her, I realise that she isn't out to break up anyone's relationships and she just wants to make the boys proud of her; especially since no one else believes in her and they all feel like she's going to fail at the job.

We were flying out to America this after and I, personally anyway, couldn't wait to finally go over there with the boys and see what they do for a couple of weeks - our flights and rooms had all been paid for, and it had been made clear that we were only going to be staying for a couple of weeks before we had to come back home.

"So, did you find out anything new about 'Little Miss Perfect' then?" Grace asked me as she walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

We all ended up staying round my place last night because it was the closest to where we ended up last night, while the boys carried out partying well after we left them; so it wouldn't come as any real big surprise if they all had hangovers and didn't know what to do.

"Yeah. Is there anything we can use to bring her down and get her sacked?" Juliet asked, which I was slightly shocked with because she got along with everyone and Em hadn't actually given Juliet a reason to hate her, she was just jealous and felt her relationship with Jay was threatened.

"Not really. She just seems like someone who is trying to prove people wrong and show them she's not this failure they all believe she is. I think she just needs some people to be there for her, rather than against her for something she's not even trying to do..." I replied.

"Which side are you on here? I thought you were worried about her getting in the way of yours and Nathan's relationship?" Juliet asked, although she sounded slightly annoyed with me because I wasn't trying to help in forcing Emma out of her job; it wasn't fair to be doing that when she hasn't done anything wrong.

"I'm not on any side here, and I really don't think she is trying to ruin any of our relationships. We're going to be in America with her, maybe you should just give her a chance and you'll find that you actually quite like her." I snapped in annoyance at them as I stood up and walked into the kitchen, putting the kettle on and waiting for it to boil as I thought about what had happened last night with Emma.

Nathan had told me before that she didn't trust people easily, but last night I found out a lot of the reasons why she lacked so much confidence in herself and didn't feel like she was good enough for the job; it actually made me think about everything a lot more and made me realise that not everything in life was as simple as it was made out to be - Em was just trying to make people proud of her, but even with what she was doing, people were still putting her down and making her feel like she wasn't good enough for anything.

"Don't worry about them two, they just feel threatened. Em seems lovely to me as well." I heard someone say from behind me.

I turned around to see both Skylar and Aubree stood there with smiles on their faces. I knew that they liked her and were going to get along with her, mostly because they could just get along with her and they were all so similar to each other; especially with both of them being designers as well.

"Are you ready for America then?" I asked them.

"Been packed for over a week now. Only two more days to go now." Aubree celebrated with a grin on her face.

"I've still got to pack, I just have no idea what to pack." Skylar chuckled.

"Clothes. There's a suggestion." I replied with a laugh, which earned me a high five from Aubree in return, although Skylar didn't seem too impressed by my response.
