The rest of the day I spent practicing Minecraft. When my eyes started to hurt from staring at a screen too long than I'm supposed to, I got off and wandered to the lounge room. Luckily, I brought my book, so I made myself comfy on the couch and started to read.

When I got to a part about bonding, I realized something; I've bonded with other people, except Simon. My own dad.

A pang of guilt hit me. I've paid attention to other people besides the very person who wanted to adopt me.

I put the book away as I thought this over. I have to do something. I can't exclude Simon from my bonding experience at Yogtowers. I never thought I'd say that ever.

Anyway, I've had too many experiences to know that if you want to stay in a family, you got let them know you and suck up to them.

The door opened and Simon walked in, breaking me from thought. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Didn't find you in the office so I looked in here. Ready to go home?" He said.

I nodded, and followed him out the door, and into Lewis' car.

As we drove to Simon's house, I couldn't think of anything to say, so I decided to look out the window and wait.

I saw posters hung up on buildings, with pictures of mostly girls who were missing. That seems to happen a lot lately.

Lewis and Hannah dropped us off at Simon's house, and we silently walked inside.

"Could we watch TV for a little bit?" I asked quietly.

Simon seemed a bit surprised, but nodded. "Sure."

We walked into the living room and turned on the TV.

"What should we watch?" I asked.

"What about that series you and Lewis were watching the other day?" Simon asked.

I smiled as I ran to my duffle bag and got the series. I brought them back out and pushed the first disc of Season1 in, and sat down next to Simon.

Like the first time, I clapped along to the theme, and pointed out the characters. This was my favorite TV show, and telling someone about it was very easy. I've done it a lot.

"You seem like you recited that or something." Simon said.

I thought for a moment. This was the perfect time to tell him about my past.

"I've done it a lot before." I admit. He looks at me, confused. "I've been adopted before. A lot of times. And just when I feel comfortable with that family, they take me back to the orphanage." My voice cracked, and I knew that I was close to tears, but I didn't care. "I don't know why, either. Just, out of the blue, 'Your going back to the orphanage, get in the car'. I thought they would want me, and I thought that I would be happy for once, but then they take me back." Tears poured down my face, and I wrapped my arms around myself. I felt like I needed to stop, but couldn't. I've never poured out my heart like this before, and I wasn't slowing down. "And they don't see that I hate it at the orphanage. I get picked on, I have no friends, I have a better chance of living with them if only they'd want me. I-"

I stopped when a hand was put on my shoulder. I looked up, and could just see Simon through the blurry tears. He looked at me, horror and shock plastered on his face. I probably went too far, and brought a load of information on him that he couldn't handle. He probably thinks I'm either insane or just made that up to get sympathy. He's probably-

My thoughts were cut off when the older ginger brought me into a hug. I froze at first, but hugged him back after a moment. I buried my face in his shoulder, knowing fully well that his shirt was getting soaked with tears. I cried until it seemed like my eyes were dry, with the Friends theme song playing in the background. Then I pulled back.

"Are you okay?" Simon asked, with a tone I've never heard him talk in before. I nodded and hiccupped. "Were all those things true? About people adopting you but bringing you back?" I nodded again. And hiccupped. Simon sighed and hugged me again, this time shorter. When we separated, he wiped the tears away from my eyes. He seemed like a true father.

"Do you want to get some rest?" Simon asked.

I thought, then nodded. Simon helped me up and escorted me to my room.

I layed down, not caring that I'm not in pajamas. Simon leaned down and pulled up the covers, and while he was doing that, I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. Again.

"Thank you." I whispered in his ear. He hugged me back, then backed away. He gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"Your welcome." He whispered back. Then he left the room, closing the door behind him.

I kept smiling, even as I fell asleep.

Sorry this is short, but the fluffiness makes up for it right? RIGHT?!

Anyway, this will get more interesting. It's not just a girl being adopted by Yogtowers. If you know me, then you will probably guess that.
