{Candie's POV}
I stayed on the floor for a long time. I was suddenly exhausted. I slowly stood up, my joints sore, and grabbed my crutches. I made my way back to the couch and layed down.
I fell asleep before my head landed on the pillow.

My dreams were worst than the ones I had in the house. True nightmares.
I was back in the living room of the house. I couldn't move. I saw everyone, Lewis, Hannah, Duncan, Martyn, Simon, all try to protect me from the place I stood immobile. The man, Harry, my dad, walked up to each of them, and either strangled them or stabbed them. I tried to scream at them to move, to run away, but they kept their ground.
Harry killed them all, stopping at Simon briefly. He jabbed the knife through the ginger's entire body, and then let him fall to the ground. He stepped on his body as he came closer to me.
I wanted to scream at him, to call him names other people have called me my entire life. I wanted to hit him, to kick him and fight him in anyway possible. But I couldn't move.
He stood in front of me, his face too detailed to be a dream. Or atleast I thought so. He smiled wide at me, and raised the machete that seemed sharper and larger than it was before. He swung.

Before it could hit me, I woke up, sat up straight, and screamed. I saw Hannah and Lewis from the kitchen, staring at me and frozen. My eyes blurred.
I saw movement through the unshed tears in my eyes, but couldn't make it out. The tears fell, and I saw Hannah was kneeling next to the couch.
"Candie?" She said. "What happened?"
I wiped my eyes. I felt like a little girl who had a nightmare and has to have help from her parents.
"I-I had a.... nightmare." I said, sniffing.
"Aw," Hannah said. "Would you like some tea?" I nodded, and she sat beside me on the couch on while Lewis made all of us tea.
Hannah was next to me on the couch, while Lewis sat in a chair near the couch. I held the warm cup of tea in my hands on my lap, letting the steam rise into my face. Even though the tea was warming my hands, I couldn't help think about my fingertips becoming black from the cold.
"Would you like to talk about your nightmare?" Lewis asked.
I shook my head, and took a sip from the tea. I couldn't explain my nightmare if I tried; I would burst into tears before I could finish it.
"Well," Hannah began. "We're going to go to Yogtowers and contact everyone about the situation. Even the yognau(gh)ts. We'll be back in a few hours. Will you be okay?"
I took another sip of my tea and nodded.
"Would you like something to eat before we leave?" Lewis asked. I shook my head. Gee, looks like I'm not talking much today.
"Okay," Hannah said. She stood up, and so did Lewis.
"Here," Lewis walked into a room and came back out with a laptop. "You can use this while we're gone." I nodded and he set it down on a table near the couch.
"We'll be back," Hannah said. I sipped my tea and nodded.
They waved goodbye and left.
After a few minutes of simply sipping my tea and doing nothing, I pulled the laptop over and turned it on. I've never worked with a laptop before. All I ever had to get on the internet with was an old desktop.
