Enjoy!

{Candie's POV}

The next day was better. I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders by talking to Simon last night. I felt like I could breathe clearer.

But I felt something wasn't right. I walked into the lounge one time today, and there were Simon, Lewis, Hannah, and Duncan talking in the lounge. They looked at me when I walked in, and I immediately knew they were talking about me. I backed out of the room awkwardly and instead went into the office I used yesterday.

Rarely anyone would talk to me. They would nod or smile in my direction, but it looked more out of sympathy.

I was afraid to know what they all planned, but I continued on with my day as normal. I looked at the comments on the first video of me in it, and saw that there were many comments saying that I should be on more videos. I was happy to know that people I haven't even met liked me. Duncan also uploaded the video of us pranking the other two, and lots of people want us to do that again. I smiled.

Then came the time when we needed to go home. Duncan rode with us, and instead of just me and Simon getting out of the car, it was everyone. We all headed into the house, and crowded the living room.

"I guess I'll, go to bed...?" I said, more of a question.

"Wait. We need to talk for a moment." Lewis said. Uh oh. I did not like the sound of that.

"W-What?" I said, getting a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Well," Hannah started. "We've all been thinking."

"A-And?" I managed.

"We thought that maybe," Simon said. "Maybe, a life with video games in it might not be very healthy for you."

"So..?" I began, not feeling very well.

Lewis nudged Simon. The ginger coughed. "So, we're thinking that maybe your life would be better at the orphanage."

I was shocked. My eyes went blurry. "Your..... taking me back?"

They all nodded sadly.

I took a step back, horror, disbelief, betrayal..... all fueling the fire in me which I call anger. I balled my fists. "Your just going to leave me?!" I yelled. They all looked guilty. They should be.

"Candie-" Duncan began.

"Don't even say my name!" I yelled. The tears poured down my face like a waterfall, with no intention of stopping. "I HATE YOU! I HATE ME! I'M A NUISENCE, I'M A MORON, I'M AN IDIOT FOR EVER TRUSTING YOU! NO ONE EVER WANTS ME!" I took another step back. "Not even the people I admired, the people I looked up to, my idols want me." I said the last part darkly, and ran into my room, locking the door behind me.

I heard their footsteps and yells outside the door, but I ignored them. I picked up my duffle bag and packed some of my clothes in it. I packed my books, and only a few outfits that would fit in the duffle bag. I picked up my Yogscast hoodie from my bed, but threw it on the ground in disgust. They may have adopted me, but I'm not a yognaught anymore.

I opened the window in my room. They can disown me, but they can't make me go back to the orphanage. I jumped.

The fall wasn't long. There was a quick pain in my leg, but I ignored it as I ran. If I didn't get away quick, they might see me and go after me.

When my lungs started to burn, I slowed down. I realized I was in an unfamiliar part of town, and that the streets and sidewalk were empty. I didn't care. I was DONE.

As I walked down the sidewalk, I heard a car drive come from behind me. I didn't look, I just kept my eyes cast down. If it was them, I didn't want to be noticed.

I heard the car stop behind me and a door open. I expected one of Yogs-dumb members to walk up to me and tell me to come back. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around, but it was not what I expected.

A man stood before, one I did not recognize. He had on a hood, with black hair and a matching black beard. He was quite large, and he smiled at me like he found a prize.

"Who are you?" I asked. My eyes wandered around and saw one of those posters of a missing girl. Then it struck me. The missing girls were kidnapped. And as far as I know, it was this man who kidnapped them.

"Who am I?" The man chuckled darkly. "You'll find out." I took a step back, but the man grabbed me by the hair and held a damp cloth to my mouth. I tried to get away from his grip, but I started to feel tired and limps grew weak.

The last thing I heard was the man's dark chuckling.

{Simon's POV}

"Candie!" I yelled. "Let. Us. In!"

"She's not opening up, friend." Lewis said. "Do you have a key for this room?"

I mentally face-palmed. I had a key for this door hidden away on top of my fridge, why didn't I think of this sooner?!

I raced to the kitchen and reached up to the fridge, feeling for the key. My hands grasped something cold and rough, and I brought it down to see. There was the metal key, and I ran back to the door. I put the key in the lock, and turned it. When I heard it click, I swung the door open and looked around.

The window was open, and the dresser drawers were nearly empty. I ran over to the window and looked out.

"CANDIE!" I yelled. There was no response, and I didn't see anything or anyone. I put my head back in, and noticed a piece of clothing on the floor.

I picked up the clothing, and found it was a hoodie. Not just any hoodie though; a Yogscast hoodie. And since it was on the floor, Candie purposely forgot it. She was mad.

"What are we going to do?!" I asked to no one in particular.

"Don't worry, Simon, she'll come back. Just give her time to cool off." Hannah said reassuringly.

"But what if she doesn't?! Ugh, why did we do that?! Now she's gone for good!" I said, irritably.

"We'll find her. Let's just drive around town and see if we can find her." Duncan suggested.

"Okay. Fine. But if we find her, I'm not taking her back to the orphanage." I said. They all nodded.

We piled back into Lewis' car, and we drove around town a while. We came into a part of town we don't go in often, but drove around anyway. There were no people on the streets, so if we found her it would be easy. Then something caught my eye.

"What's that?" I asked, spying something dark laying on the sidewalk.

"I don't know." Lewis said. He pulled over, and we got out and walked over to it.

I picked up a part of it, and gasped.

It was Candie's duffle bag. Only, there was no Candie.

"Is that," Hannah started. "Candie's bag?"

"Yeah," I said. Then something else caught my eye. There was a piece of cloth nearby, and I picked it up. It was damp, and, for some reason, I smelled it. I instantly felt woozy, and held my hand out in case I fell.

"Are you okay, friend?" Lewis asked. He took the cloth from me and looked at it.

"It's chloroform." I said. My eye saw a nearby poster of a missing girl. My jaw dropped in shock and realization.

"Someone kidnapped her." Lewis said slowly, following my gaze.

Oh, f*ck.
