Prologue
The small family of three huddled in the small corner of the quaint home.
"Mama, what's happening?" The little girl questioned, she had been curious. Ever since her father had come back from his trip, he and her mama had been acting strangely. "Is it the babies?" She was worried her future siblings may be hurt; she was really looking forward to meeting the things that were due to come out of her mama's rounded belly.
Her mother put a shaky hand on her daughters cheek."N-n-no honey, it's not the kids."
The child sighed in relief, "Well, what is it? We have been hiding in the home for weeks, and I want to see Charlie soon."
Her father opened his mouth to respond. "Its-"
Slam. The weak door slammed into the wall next to the family.
The child screamed.
The woman in black cloth smiled, "Well, what a surprise." The look on her face stated it wasn't a surprise at all.
The father stood in front of the family "What do you want Hecate?"
"You know what I came for, Philip. You know what you did, and for that. You must be punished." She looked towards the pitiful family behind the man. "Or maybe its them who should suffer."
He snarled, his eyes changing to a fierce blue instead of its normal brown. "No, you will not harm my family."
She lifted her glowing hands and rose off the ground. A dark light radiated off her like a halo. "Do not think of it as harm, dog. Instead think as it as a gift."
"No." he screamed jumping towards the other worldly creature.
But it was too late. What she had started could not have been stopped, not even by the moon goddess.
" A gift and a curse is what you will receive. From the goddess and queen of all bad it seems. I have been betrayed by the darkness in one hearts. So let it be the one that will lay its mark. " The room grew brighter which each powerful word. She stepped forward putting her hands in the pregnant wolf's stomach.
" Darkness will consume these children who grow in their mothers womb. And when they reach the tender age of twenty, the world will end in a giant, boom."
The mothers stomach was surrounded by a black mist, getting denser and denser with each word the evil queen muttered.
Philip tired his best to move but he was paralyzed by an unknown force. Tears dripped down the mans face, when he realized because of his past mistake his children were going to pay for it. He closed his eyes and prayed to the moon goddess, Hala, promising anything she wanted as long as she could help his children. Saved them from this awful fate they had just received.
A light suddenly brightened the room. Then she appeared. In the flesh, it was Hala, the moon goddess, queen of the wolves, his savior. If Philip could have gotten on his knees he would have to kiss her feet. Her face could have been compared to an Angel's and sliver hair flowed down her back and over white cloth making it hard to look directly at her.
" Moon Goddess-" He started.
She smiled a wonderful smile, " Shush my little wolf, I know what has happened."
The little girl, who had be cowering in the corner, rushed over and tugged on the white cloth. " Hala, miss moon goddess. Please save my mama and my sister and brother. The bad lady is doing weird things to her, and I am worried."
She laughed and gently tapped the child's head. "Go to sleep my little wolf, when you wake your family will be back to normal." The little girl eyes drooped, she had a small smile on her face. "Thank you, Hala."
The moon goddess turned towards her twin sister, the smile that had been on her face turned into an angry frown. "Hecate, what the hell are you doing?" She rarely cursed, but desperate times called for desperate measures.
Hecate lifted her hands from the young mother's womb and turned to face her twin.
"We agreed when we were created to leave each other creations alone. I don't touch yours, you don't touch mine.
"But-"
"No buts you little witch, now get out before I show you the real power of the queen of the wolves."
Hecate glared at the radiant beauty before, even though they were identical, people could clearly tell them apart because of the difference in hair colors. While Hala's hair was stunning sliver, Hecate's hair resembled that of a black waterfall. Both of their hair's reaching waist length.
" Fine I'll leave, I've already finished my duties here anyways, good luck the trying to reverse the curse." She smirked, " Ta ta." And with a snap of her fingers she she dispersed, leaving a wisp of black smoke behind her.
Hala just sighed and shook her head, while she loved her sister sometimes their differences were too great and it seemed like they would never get along. She shook her head from her thoughts and snapped her fingers towards Philip, releasing him from his paralyzed state, then she turned towards the mother.
Putting her hands over the womb she closed her eyes. And concentrated on the dark energy circulating within the young mothers stomach.
Philip rushed over and hovered near the moon goddess and his wife, anxiously waiting for, well anything to happen. But the moon goddess just kept mumbling and the glow from her hands seemed to grow brighter and brighter, not unlike the scene with her twin just a few minutes before. After what felt like an hour but was really just no more then ten minutes, the Moon Goddess sighed and told Philip, what she had did.
Her eyes were sad as she conveyed the news, "My sister is a very strong goddess, just as strong as me if not stronger. But I did my best, and unfortunately or fortunately, I was only able to save the boy, making his soul pure. But his sister...well I'm sorry I could only save one."
His wife burst out crying and Philip quickly rushed over to comfort her, "Wasn't there anything thing you could have done more? Not that we are not grateful for what you did."
She sighed again, and if was even possible looked sadder. "Because of the curse my sister put on your children, I had to make it so there could be a way to stop it. Your son, and your daughter... on their 21st birthday they are destined to fight each other. And whoever wins will determine the fate of not only the supernatural world but the human world too. I'm so sorry."
The young couple just started at each other, they knew what they had just heard. They just refused to process it, because if they did. That meant they had to accept the future death of one or both of their unborn children.
" I will check up them every once in while, but I cannot interfere directly as the fates won't allow me. But I will try to protect them till the time for them to fulfill their densities." She looked at the window and saw it was approaching morning, " I'm sorry but I must go now, good luck." The room glowed brighter than a bright flash came and then the queen was gone.
With his wife sobbing her heart out Philip realized something. The curse was there to stay. Even when the Moon Goddess did everything in her power to change it. But when the queen of all things wicked, did something bad nothing good ever happened.
