Preference #17 Tears

Harry: The boys are at the top of their career and have received one of the most prestigious acknowledgements anyone’s ever been given, and you’re there, watching it all happen, and you’re just so proud that it’s too much for you. You feel your eyes tear up as you see him standing there with his best mates, and you know how hard they’ve worked for it and they’ve done it together. And as you cheer, you wipe a tear and see him smile at you, a smile only meant for you, because he knows how proud you are of him and he’s grateful because you’re one of the people who’ve stayed with him at his worst and been with him at his best.

Liam: He’s prepared a special night for the two of you. He starts with candlelit dinner and beautiful music. He then brings you to a majestic bridge and stops just near the end. And when he kneels on one knee and shows you the ring full of promises, your eyes are filled with tears and happiness and as soon as you say the word he’s always wanted to hear, he stands up and kisses your tears away before finally reaching for your lips.

Louis: You’re crying and it’s his fault and he knows it. He promised you he’d never make you cry on purpose, but right now, those tears, and the tears you’ve shed recently, are all because of him and he just doesn’t think he could still handle that every time you cry, he’s the reason behind it. So he lets you go. He lets you go because if he doesn’t, he’ll only end up hurting you more.

Niall: You were both at your sister’s wedding and you’ve been overwhelmed by the love and happiness of your sister and her husband. And as you were crying near the altar (seeing as you were the maid-of-honor), Niall watches you quietly. And he is in awe because you’re the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen. He could feel his heart flutter because you belong to him and those tears, those beautiful tears, would always make or break him.

Zayn: You’ve been married for three years and have been trying to have a baby ever since. You’ve finally succeeded and now you’re in the delivery room, in labor, his hand tightly holding yours. After 12 long hours, your baby is finally welcomed into the world. And when he sees and holds his daughter for the very first time, he is filled with happiness and he cries because finally, finally, she’s here. And as you look at them, you’re sure he’s fallen in love all over again and you’re happy because so have you.
