Harry: It was your birthday, but since you had work and school to juggle, you couldn’t squeeze in flying to Harry, who was currently touring the world. But he calls you anyway. “Happy birthday, love,” he drawls, sleep still evident in his voice. You giggle at the thought of him rubbing his eyes to keep himself awake. “Thank you. What time is it there? Shouldn’t you be sleeping?” “It’s 3 in the morning here. But I wanted to be the first one to greet you.” And the two of you would just talk more until you finally convince him to go back to sleep.

Liam: Liam would always call you before their concert starts because even if he doesn’t admit it, your assurance that he’ll do fine relaxes him from pre-concert jitters. He’d ramble at first on how large the crowd is this night, and you’d continuously encourage him to do his best and just to be himself, because people would still love him no matter what.

Louis: He’d fly you out a lot, but on days when you can’t, he’d send you random text messages of funny signs he saw or souvenirs he might think you’d like. He knows how it bothers you when he buys you expensive things, but he can’t help it. He’s used to spoiling his sisters and mum, and he wants to spoil you as much because you’re his girlfriend.

Niall: On monthsaries or days when you both feel like it, the two of you would go on Skype dates where you’d both prepare the same food. Niall would borrow Harry’s cinnamon-scented candles because you’ve always found candlelit dinners intimate and romantic. You’d light a candle, as well, and the two of you would keep the room you’re in dark, and the two of you would just chat and eat and although it isn’t the same as being in an actual candlelit dinner together, it’s pretty close.

Zayn: He doesn’t look like it, but Zayn’s a very sweet and clingy boyfriend. Ever since he left for tour, he has sent you flowers everyday with a small note, different each day. The notes are random, but most are reminders that he’ll be back soon and that you’re his love. And when he has breaks, he’d immediately fly to you and his family because he’d rather spend the time with his loved ones than rest.
