Kakashi woke up the next morning with passion of a great day for the first time since he made jonin at a young age. Had a hot shower, ate a great breakfast, read his way to the meeting place on top of a building, and is just staring outside waiting patiently for his friend Obito to arrive. The morning was softly lit with sun and clouds were all a soft orange, pink white color. The air was smooth and warm at 7 am. And there were just a good handful of people walking the streets of Konaha. Not crowded and busy. Kakashi began to think about all the things he wanted to tell Obito. He knew full well he wasn't going to waver. He will tell him what's truly in his heart. He clenched on the fence tighter, feeling nervous. Kakashi sighed out to release his pressure and stare down at the people passing by on the ground. His eyes squinted and glared, then blinked repeatedly before widening in surprise as he believed he saw far off the distance to his right a man with short black hair, his height and body built to look exactly like Obitos. If Kakashi could see closer for the scars and mismatched eyes he would've guessed correctly. The man appeared to wear a simple black long sleeve and black pants, with white bandages around his ankles. Kakashi would be completely shocked if that was Obito. Because Obito normally wore that loose, flowy mantle that never really expressed his shape. Kakashi poked his head lower as the man stopped with his hands on his hips staring up at him. Kakashi was getting nervous if that wasn't him because he'd be just plain rude for staring and would have to talk his way out. But the man looked just like Obito!

"Kakashi..!" The man called out with that familiar Obito raspy voice. Kakashi placed his hands over his mouth surprised and so happy. He's never felt so happy in his life until this very moment, he saw Obito dressed so casually, standing in the leaf village, calling his name.
"Obito..!" Kakashi called out excitedly and waved. Obito smirked and then teleported his way up onto the rooftop. Kakashi was surprised at how fast he moved. He used Kamui. Kakashi looked back with delight, "Obito...!" He cheered. Obito blinked his mismatched eyes, with a smile on his face to really collect the sight of Kakashi again. He noticed that same leaf jonin outfit. "Kakashi" Obito spoke as he walked closer, coming in slowly for a hug. Kakashis eyes widened, the morning air was breezing softly against his teary eyes as he surprisingly took in the scent of the black haired man's sweet cologne as he held him. "Obito..." Kakashi spoke in relief, he felt like he was floating. There was no way this was happening. This embrace was too good to be true. "Obito! Tell me I'm dreaming..!" Kakashi pathetically cried out. Obito still had his arms around his neck chuckled softly. Kakashi swallowed and quickly held the shorter man's shoulders, examining him closely. Obito looked so adorable. He looked like he still just got out of bed kind of face, his black short hair really complimented that look because of its messy short strands but his mismatched eyes despite the strange contrast pierced Kakashi with its gaze of pleasure and purity. He looked somewhat like an angel. An angel Kakashi should've encountered a long time ago. He felt Obitos round, tough shoulders on his hands. "Obito! Have you gotten shorter? I mean you were taller than me when we were kids! But I guess I grew taller eventually!" Kakashi joked in amazement. Obitos jaw slightly dropped and his eyebrow twitched, slightly embaressed to realize that as well, before eventually he grew a huge smirk and bit his corner lip, accepting that observation.
That made Kakashi laugh so hard, slapping his knee. Containing himself again he rose up and then held Obitos hands together, still so amazed at the sight of him close up, in the morning light. "Obito? Did you have breakfast?" He asked as he watched Obitos eyes grow wide then squint as the question came to him. Obito smirked and giggled, "No." Kakashis jaw dropped, completely heart brokened. "Obito why didn't you?!" He asked. Obito bit his bottom lip and rose his shoulders giggling even more, "I was just eager to meet you that's all." He replied with his palms facing upwards in the air. "Obito we're going out to eat. We can talk there." Kakashi spoke with care as he tapped Obitos shoulder. "Uhh.." Obito mumbled. "You think we'll be alright?" He asked with concern. His raspy voice in worry made Kakashi tingle. He adored his voice. "Why don't we go over at your place?" Obito added. Kakashi stared thinking. "But...what if someone knocks on my door? Maybe my student or another jonin of our age?" He asked, "Or even the hokage!" Kakashi added. Obito squinted his eyes and stared at the floor before looking up with a smirk surprising Kakashi, "Doesn't mean we have to answer them..." Obito teased. Kakashis jaw shut together and he put on a happy smile with his eyes shut, which always turned Obitos insides to jelly. "Good idea...!" Kakashi teased with a hand in the air. Obitos expression was too sexy. He rose his eyebrows up and down with a big smirk showing his teeth and his mouth open, "Yeahhh...???" He joked. Kakashi and him instantly shared a laugh attack.

They teleported together to Kakashis apartment. They knew it was risky to teleport instantly to the front door so they stood on the rooftop of the apartment building. "Get down..!" Kakashi hissed as he saw Gai and Rock Lee jogging down the road, Kakashi and Obito watched the two green idiots pant and say "Keep going..!" Kakashi turned his gaze at Obito who crouched with his eyes squinted and his jaw dropped in shock at the sight of Gai and how he grew up to a man. Kakashis eyes grew almost sad with his eye lids hung low, in pity for Obito who missed out on all the old team members of their generation. He watched Obito point a finger in shock, "Is that Gai...?" He asked with his eyes glaring and squinting. Kakashi watched Obito turn his gaze at Kakashi for an answer, and that's when Kakashi quickly changed his face to a warm smile, "Eheheheh...yup" He replied. Obito closed his jaw slowly and watched him run down the road. Kakashi trying to comfort the left out man, patted Obitos back, which felt very tough, broad and muscular. "I think it's safe now.." Kakashi whisphered in amusement. Obito only glanced at him, looked down at the villagers then back up with a timid smile. That smile. Punctured millions of holes in Kakashis heart. That smile he instantly recalled seeing all the time on Obitos young face back when they were kids. To see that same slightly blushing, timid smile on Obitos grown face kicked Kakashi back home to the old days. He felt that maybe Obito still has that personality and behavior as a kid. 'Maybe Tsunade...We question the man wrongly.' Kakashis mind spoke. 'I know I will be the only one...Who will find out.' Kakashis thoughts grew deeper in his head.
