Chapter 19 - It's Not a Mistake

Obito arrived at the leaf gates and decided to teleport his way to the apartment. The baby stared in shock at the sudden change in area. Obito smirked glancing at the boy, "Was that fun...?" He watched it's eyes tear up slowly. Obito chuckled, "Ssshhhh..." He was so amused of the boy. Obito pulled his keys and tried unlocking the door as the baby tried to take it from him, Obito chuckled. "You want daddy's keeeyyyys?" He unlocked the door slowly and before opening the door slowly he handed it to the boy, much to the baby's pleasure. Obito slowly opened the door revealing a bright lit kitchen and his lover cooking. He swallowed hard but at the same time he felt completely confident as he stepped inside watching his partner cook then turn around in relief and excitement as his lover finally returned. Obito smirked bigger as he watched his lovers face turn from happiness to shock and confusion. "Hiiiiii...!" Obito cheered. Kakashi blinked and placed his cooking utensil down and quickly walked over to the baby. "Obito...?! I..- I am so happy you are finally here I fucking missed you!- what-? Why-? The baby?!" He stumbled on his word. Obito chuckled and glanced over at the boy, "That's daddy number 2! Say Kaaaakaaashiiiii" He played. Kakashi stared in shock, "He...-? Obito...why did you bring a baby?- dont-....tell me...-" He gasped. "No way!!" He cried. "Kaashishiiiiii!" The baby randomly blurted, wailing the keys around. Obito was to amused to hear the man's outburst. He turned to Kakashi in amusement, "What was that..?" He shut his eyes and chuckled. Kakashi paused in thought and anticipation. He froze. The white haired man swallowed hard and began, "When you were at the doctors....Don't tell me...-You were...pregnant?" He asked with so much concern. "Obito! I'm not- I wasn't ready for a baby-" He added. Obito laughed his raspy laugh and the baby laughed along. "It turns out it was the case Kakashi." He replied. "What?! Who was your doctor! How?!" He cried back. "They were specialized doctors. Don't worry I've been on my medications and I've been fine for the past 2 weeks." The Uchiha replied. Kakashi rubbed his forehead, "Obito...I mean...How did it happen?" He sighed. "Somethings burning on the stove 'Kashi." He interuptted. "Kashiiiiii!" The baby giggled. Kakashi smiled weakly. "I dont really know how I feel...Did you know this all along..? How come you chose to keep it?" He asked itching his hair. "I'm trying to comprehend Obito..." He muttered. Obito only chuckled, which made Kakashis eyes widened and felt somewhat relieved. "All I know is that I fucking missed you!" He teared up as he held his partner and the baby who innocently stared at the floor with the keys in his mouth. "Ewwwwww. Babyyyyy. Daddy says no." Obito chuckled as he pulled the keys away from its mouth. Kakashi pulled away and sighed, "Please take a seat Obito! I'll bring you a drink." He offered. "It's been so long my Obito." He muttered. Obito smiled big and sat on the couches with the baby on his lap and leaned back with his hands behind his head. "Aaaaahhhhhh...." Obito loudly groaned. "So fucking good to be back home...!" He groaned roughly. The baby played with the buttons on his vest as Obito shut his eyes to rest. "Here you are Obito." Kakashi placed his drink down and sat beside him. "The foods done. But before that...We need to talk about the baby." He sat beside Obito who slowly opened his eyes and glanced at his partner. "Mmmmm..." Obito groaned as he leaned closer for a kiss from his lover. Kakashi kissed him back, "Damn I miss those lips..." He chuckled. Obito sighed and groaned. Kakashi watched his lover, "It feels like years not seeing that beautiful face of yours." He spoke as he watched Obito reach over for his drink. Obito smirked big, before he could take a sip he brought it to the baby boys lips, letting him drink first. Kakashi watched in awe as the baby drunk with wide eyes glancing all around his new home. Obitos eyes stared so inlove. "Good Sakumo?" He muttered. Kakashis eyes widened and gasped alittle at that. It was his fathers name. Obito took in the drink, then exhaling, "Do you accept the child Kakashi...?" Obito asked glancing over at him. "Obito...honestly...I wasn't prepared for a baby...I don't know how we can raise him. We have busy lives and what if missions go on for days...weeks?!" He asked. Obito glanced at the floor in thought, "I understand..." was all he said as he got up from the couch. "This boy is my responsibility. I will find a way and it won't be here Kakashi..." He muttered as he carried the boy who smiled big at him. Obito stared in awe, "The walk down the forest with him to the village was beautiful. I became so connected to him. I knew I wanted to have this gift, but if it's unable to find the safety here then I will have to find a new home where he and I belong." He spoke. Kakashis eyes widened, "Obito...! Are you...leaving me..?!" He gasped. "Why haven't you told me your plans for a baby earlier? It would've been easier and I would be well prepared..!" He spoke. All Obito did was walked over and kiss the man one more time, But Kakashi pulled away, "Obito...! I can't believe this..-!" He cried, "I feel bad for not accepting the child! But I honestly don't know..! I can't be a father..! I'm not ready and I never planned to be ready. It was never in my dreams of the future...and our future.." tears streamed down. The baby stared in awe with teary eyes. Obito bit his bottom lip and walked to the door. He had no idea what to say.

Standing outside the road exiting the village and staring at the night sky, after that heated, emotionally heart breaking moment, Obito sat on the ground and finally found some time to sob with the boy innocently sitting on the ground.
