"Well here we are..." Kakashi sighed as he shut the door behind him and watched Obito stare around. "Have I ever been at your place...?" Obito mumbled as his eyes wandered. The walls were a dark grey color, a fancy table with flowers leaned on the wall where the skinny stairs took place with wall that caved over them. The floor was a very dark brown color, and there was a step down the narrow hallway to the kitchen which appeared very homely. White flowers were on the table. A candle was still lit. The refrigerator was black. The oven and dishwasher were black too. And the stove top was electric. The kitchen wall matched the color of the living room, dark grey and a beautiful flower pattern containing colors of beige, nude pink and gold. The living room had a TV. 1 family sized couch. 2 mini shelves with books and dvds. The windows were shut and the blinds were closed. "Sorry Obito, if it looks depressing. First impressions matter the most ehehehhe.." He weakly chuckled as he opened the blinds, letting the summer air in. "I dont...think so." Obito mumbled to himself. Kakashi glanced back at him. Obito turned his gaze back at him and smiled sheepishly. "Don't you think the last thing we want is to have someone peek through the windows?" Obito teased as he pointed a finger at the windows. Kakashi itched his hair then glanced over, "Yeah...Hahaha you're right." He shyly replied and turned the blinds down. "Here I'll turn on a li-" "no." Obito interupted. "This is perfect..." He smirked. It was merely dark with a weak candle light. "But ummm...Obito? I need to cook for you." He spoke. Obito pouted his lips and nodded, "I don't need you to cook anything for me. But some tea." He spoke as he sat down on the seats behind the counter. "Obito. Please help yourself. Sit on the kitchen table. The seats have back rests and they're very comfortable. Please, my old friend." Kakashi spoke as he walked over to pull out a chair. "I'll get your tea ready." He smiled softly. Obito slightly surprised but very pleased giggled very quietly to himself with a little smile as he got up to sit on the pulled seat. Pushing his chair in, Obito crossed his arms and watched Kakashi pour some water in the tea kettle. "So...You like it here?" Kakashi spoke. Obito looked up and around again in the kitchen, "I...honestly wouldn't picture you sleeping anywhere else." Obito replied. This made Kakashi chuckle, "Really?" He asked. Obito only blinked then chuckled to himself as he nodded 'yes.' Kakashi thought he looked adorable in that moment. "Obito. How about some eggs?" He asked. "Sure." Obito replied. Kakashi smiled, "You need that protein Obito" He teased. Obito glared and pouted his lips. "What does that supposed to mean...?" Obito quietly mumbled to himself. "It means..." Kakashi spoke as he reached for an egg in the fridge, "...muscle Obito." He sighed as he shut the fridge to the sight of Obitos amused face. This made Kakashi laugh. It was obvious the two laugh at the dumbest things. Which is what makes friendship worth while.
Kakashi threw in some green peppers, diced and seasoned, with 3 turkey bacon slices, and an egg with cheese. Placing the plate on the table and sliding his tea next to it Kakashi clapped his hands, "Ooo! I forgot one more thing..." and went off to the cupboard. Obito smirked with delightment. He felt spoiled and loved it. He stared at his food, "You know...I usually don't like cooking. I'm too lazy..." Obito spoke. Kakashi came back with a fudge brownie sprinkled with nuts and a large blueberry muffin in a small fancy plate. Obito blinked and then licked his lips. "Damn..You know..After dinner is dessert but shit..." He trailed off as he observed the goodness. "Dessert after breakfast exists in my place Obito." Kakashi replied, holding in a laugh attack at Obitos reaction. "Bring it." Obito spoke. Kakashi chuckled and placed the small plate down near his meal.
"Here's your napkin." Kakashi spoke. "Mmm. Thank you." Obito replied as he ate the egg and cheese. Kakashi tried not to watch Obito eat but couldn't help it. He felt so excited at the sight of Obito eating his food he cooked. And not just his food. But Obito eating in general. 'Now...This has got to be a dream..' Kakashis mind spoke. Obito licked the grease off his lips as he picked up his tea for a sip before eating the peppers. Kakashi knew he didn't want to talk, he wanted Obito to enjoy the food. Kakashi wasn't really the type who talks while he eats so he chose to respect Obito and let him just enjoy his food. But it seemed that wasn't the case as Obito began to talk as he ate. With a fork twirling in the air as he talked. Sometimes with his mouth full he covered, Kakashi sometimes didn't even know what he said. He only nodded and pretended to hear which made him giggle softly to himself as his nods smoothly moved through the moment as he watched Obito swallow, "Right." He spoke as he cut another piece to his mouth. "And then.." He began and chewed, "-Obito...Just eat for now." Kakashi spoke softly with care. Trying to hide his amusement of Obitos unawareness. "Mmmm." Obito nodded and agreed as he chewed and shut his eyes. Kakashi did not know what he was saying. He thought maybe it was because of their lack of communication all these years that Kakashi never could adjust to Obitos speech patterns and the way he talks. Maybe he just couldn't adjust to the fact that he's talking!
"That was really good." Obito spoke as he nodded in amazement. "You're good 'Kashi..." He smirked as he opened his mouth to bite the blueberry muffin. Kakashi couldn't help but stare at him and the way he closed his mouth on the muffin, bit a chunk and chewed. "Mmm. How long has it been since I've had you baby?" He spoke to the muffin with his eyes shut. Kakashi giggled. "Really...!" He emphasized with his mouthful. "I bet...Obito" Kakashi spoke in amusement. Obito licked his lips glaring in confusion as he took in for another bite, "Bet how much...?" He spoke before devouring. Kakashi had a huge smile on his face, "I mean...I bet Obito...it's been awhile since you've had a blueberry muffin." He replied. "How much can you bet?" Obito teased. "Oh no, I'm not betting money." Kakashi admitted. This made Obito laugh very loudly. His raspy laugh made Kakashis skin tickle. "Oooo. This looks sooo good." Obito spoke as he observed the fudge nut brownie. "4.99 Obito...." Kakashi spoke as if the price was nessacary to him. Obito shot his eyes at him, "For how many?" He asked. "For 4 brownies Obito..." Kakashi replied shyly. "What?" Obito spoke not amused, with his eyes disapointed. "See...That's why I don't buy that stuff." He spoke. Kakashi weakly chuckled and itched his hair, "Well a small portion is good for me cause I serve them only for visitors." He spoke. Obito smirked before taking a bite, "Visitors..." He whisphered to himself and then ate. Kakashi blinked innocently then he pushed his mask down and picked up his cup of tea. Obito as stupid as he was stared in awe of Kakashi. Kakashi sighed before he took a sip. "Hmmm..?" He cooed as he swallowed his tea. Obito nodded 'no' and continued his brownie. "Aahhh...so good...!" Obito groaned. Kakashi chuckled, "Now you make me want one Obito. I mean you're the first to try them." He giggled. "Go for it. It's really good." Obito replied. Kakashi loved how Obito was enjoying his meal. It made Kakashi feel very happy and pleased inside.
"Wow...that's good..." Kakashi spoke in surprise as he chewed. Obitos eyes lit up childishly, "Mmmhmmm.." He nodded with a smirk. Obito picked up his tea and drunk the last of it. Kakashi had the other half, "Do you want the rest...Obito..?" He softly spoke as he held it to him. Obito stared in delight, "You cool?" Obito asked, making sure Kakashi was willing. "Yeah. Go ahead." Kakashi blurted back. Obito smiled to himself and took it, "Thanks." And popped the rest in his mouth. He swallowed, "No really...I mean thanks for the food. You cook really well Kakashi." He spoke as he placed an elbow on the table, Leaning the side of his head on his hand. Kakashi got up, "You're very welcome Obito." He spoke as he took in the plates. Obito sat back on the table relaxing and watching the white haired man clean the dishes.
"Obito come over to the living room." Kakashi spoke as he walked and waved the man to come along. Obito pushed in his chair and sat next to Kakashi on the family sized couch. "Does your TV work..?" Obito asked. His raspy voice low when he mumbled. Kakashi chuckled, "Of course Obito..does it look broken?" He asked. Obito nodded and giggled. That gesture made Kakashi alive. Kakashi placed an arm on the couch behind Obito and sat facing him as Obito sat facing straight ahead with his legs far apart and his hands clasped together on his abdomen, slouching back. "So Obito..." Kakashi spoke somewhat in a different tone. It was curious, desperate and almost sad. Obito blinked as he closed his lips together in his mouth and nodded. "How...did you survive? How...I mean tell me everything Obito.." Kakashi spoke. Obito didn't look at him but straight ahead. Kakashi stared straight into his red sharingan side of his face which was scarred. Obito began to trust Kakashi because he too didn't want anyone to find out about him. Not even Gai. An old friend of his. Obito sighed his raspy voice and spoke but not the entire truth, "I was saved by a man I didn't know. He managed to piece me back up. And after that I basically lived alone and wandered the world with no passion...After...Rin died...I..Didn't have any drive for anything in my life. Everything was dark..." His low, raspy serious voice could make any girl pity and fall in love with him. Surely made Kakashi feel terrible. "I still think Rin should not have died..." He spoke. "Wait..! How did you..-?" Kakashi spoke. That's when Obito glanced his eyes to his left where Kakashi stared in worry. "I saw everything...You failed to keep your promise to me Kakashi...She was used by the hidden mist...and chose to sacrifice the village by your hands." He replied. Kakashi placed a hand on Obitos arm. "Obito..." He spoke, "I lived every day with guilt and regret. I couldn't save Rin...Or you...I lived knowing that I lost you both and sensei...But..here you are, and...I know one day Rin will be so happy when she looks down.." He spoke. Obito inwardly chuckled, "No...I have not much to say to Rin in the other world...I failed." He replied. "But Obito...There's still time...a chance..?" He replied softly. Obito glanced at him again, "What makes you think such a thing..?" He asked. A moment of silence occured.
"What about going back to the leaf village?" Kakashi asked.
