Teal Rain (A Loki Fanfiction) ~ (The Avengers)

Chapter 3 ~ We're Going To Germany.

Terra stood wide eyed at the tall form of Director Fury. He held out his hand and she took it. They walked to a room that had many windows around it. There was a big table in the center surrounded by a couple black chairs.

Steve, Tony, and Natasha were already seated at the table,  leaving three empty chairs on the other end. Terra took a seat between Tony and Steve, and looked up at Fury in a confused manner, wondering why she needed to come here.

"Coulson, could you get Dr. Banner?" asked Fury.

"Yes, Director." replied Coulson, as he walked out of the room. In less than two minutes, he came back with Banner on his tail.

"Why I have asked you all to come here today is for one reason, and that reason is her." Fury pointed at Terra, who glanced around at all the eyes peering at her once more. 

"Me?" she muttered.

"Not only do you not realize it, Terra, but we need your special abilities to fight against a complication we have encountered."

Terra continued to stare with all confusion and wonder on why they needed her 'abilities', let alone know she had any. 

"Stark, where did you say you found her?" asked Fury.

"I found her held captive with Clint and some other mind-washed followers of Loki." replied Tony.

Loki? Who's Loki? 

"And where was she before that?"

"Well, I remember seeing a bus swerve off the road and flip all the way over four times, so I decided to 'investigate'. I also saw men in black suits (which were more of Loki's followers) surround the bus and drag a girl out from the wreckage. That's when I noticed she was the girl that we have been looking for this whole time. The men took her to a car and began to drive away, which I failed to find out where, and so I dropped by and picked up Terra."

"Hm. Well, Terra, do you have anything to say about this? Was he correct?"

She nodded. "I have one question though," she asked. "Who is Loki?"

The room fell silent and it started to grow butterflies in her stomach. Did Terra say something she shouldn't have? Suddenly, a female agent with brown hair stepped into the room. "Director, We've got him."

"This is Loki--God of Mischief and Lies. He is the one who stole the tesseract about a week ago, and we have been trying to find him so we could locate where it is." Coulson stood by a computer where a blonde, male agent sat, typing. Terra stood next to Coulson and looked at the computer screen. 

There was an image of a tall man, wearing a black and green robe with gold plates of armor on his shirt and forearms. His black hair was slicked back, falling to the length of his shoulders, and he walked in tall, black boots. 

"He looks very intimidating." she remarked, with a smirk.

"Hm, I guess so." Coulson didn't really see it. All he knew was that this guy was dangerous.

Terra opened her mouth to ask what this 'Tesseract' was that this man 'Loki' has stolen, but was interrupted when Steve asked, "You have a report on him?" He stepped down the stairs of the lab room and stood next to Terra.  

She looked up at him and then back at the  computer screen. Then back up at him again. Wait, was he staring at her? Terra began to blush a little. Steve continued to stare into those deep, teal eyes, full of wonder and thought, until Coulson broke the trance between the two.

"Yah, we found him in Stuttgart, Germany. 28 Konigstrasse. He's not exactly hiding."

"Then let's go find him. See what he's up to." replied Steve.  He shot one more, warm glance towards Terra and walked away to go find the rest of the team.
