"Try to get a description of the girl. We don't want to bring a fake." growled the blonde man driving.
Terra's eyes went wide. What do these d*mn men want!?
Before she could do anything, the guy sitting next to her in one of the back seats leaned in to look at her directly in the eyes. She recoiled back a little, but did not break the stare. The man mumbled, "She has deep, teal eyes," He then stroked a lock of her hair, which made her flinch a bit. "and white-blonde hair."
"What about her age?"
"How old are you?" asked the man, almost spitting it out grotesquely.
Terra bit her bottom lip to keep herself quiet. She didn't want any of these men to know her age. Or anything else for that matter.
"How old are you?!" Yelled the man, slapping her across the face.
"I-I'm eighteen!" Terra yelped helplessly.
The man only grunted and slunk back in his seat.
There was a long and awkward silence, until suddenly, a loud blast was heard and the screeching of breaks, when the vehicle came to a mid stop. Terra's head smacked against the seat in front of her when the truck stopped so suddenly. She felt a little dizzy--dizzier than she already was--yet still managed to see the red and gold blur of an armored man hovering above the truck, blocking their way.
All the men inside the truck stepped out into the rain. They were furious and started shooting like hell-fire at this man in red armor, but the bullets were easily deflected off. Terra stepped out slowly, trying to take this opportunity to escape, but once she turned around to run, one of the men was already in her way. He grabbed her arm tightly and dragged her towards the view of everyone that was in action, whom were all shushed soon after.
The man held a gun up to her head, while his arm was snaked around her neck. Little did anyone know, the gun was on Safety. He shouted at the man in armor, "Fly away Stark, or I'll shoot the girl!"
The red and gold armored man however didn't fly away, but landed right on the ground and replied, "Actually, I came here to grab a quick thing before I left."
"You need the girl?" growled the man holding her tightly.
"No, I came to show off my firework display--YES I need the girl!"
Then, the blonde haired man with the bow stepped up and replied, "You're not havin' her, Stark. She's coming with us."
The armored man looked anything but pleased as he let out a little, "Okay... " and raised his hands up in surrender, which quickly turned out to be rockets blasting right out of his palms, striking a majority of the men, including the man that was holding Terra captive, causing him to fly back and land motionless on the wet, muddy road.
Terra looked shocked and in a split second, found herself being picked up from around the waist. She tried to fight who ever it was that grabbed her, but heard the words of, "Hey, hey, easy tiger! I'm not dropping you just yet." Then, she felt the ground leave beneath her. Or maybe she was going up. She looked over to the person who was holding her and saw that it was the man in the red and gold armor.
Was this a rescue, or another capture?
"W-Where are we going?" Terra managed to choke out. She has never "flown" this high off the ground before.
The man in armor could feel her shaking and held her tighter against him. "Where? Oh. Just a fun place I like to call S.H.I.E.L.D. Name's Tony, Tony Stark. Of course you, like the rest of the world, probably already knew that."
