9 June 2014, Erestes Training Campo Bahia

They had arrived yesterday in Brazil, today was the first full day in Brazil and the World Cup was coming closer and closer. Their first match was against Portugal, it was though one since Portugal had a great team and was among the ones with great changes of wining the tournament. Besides having Ronaldo, there were other pretty good players, if they were all in their element it was going to be very difficult to beat them, but they weren't any team. They were the Die Mannschaft.

Thomas woke up and had his breakfast along his teammates; it was good being together with all of them again, during the year he only saw some of them, two or three times. It always depends on the national team break, which were always two weeks, three or four times in the year.

"Saw Lenny this morning, she looked tired as hell. What the hell did you do to her," Mario asked. They were walking next to each other to the training camp.

Muller frown, " I didn't do anything, I barely spoke with her since we got to Porto Seguro."

"You sure," Mario asked, still not very convinced.

"Yes, when we landed with all the craziness we didn't have time to talk," Thomas stated.

"Hmm, so what could she possibly have?" Mario asked, thinking, " I'm serious, Thomas. She wasn't herself."

"I bet its stress from work," Thomas replied, she told in the Salvador airport that she had to work ten times harder.

"Could be that or could be another thing," Mario said, like he knew something that Thomas didn't.

Thomas looked at Mario, " I know that face, what do you know?"

Mario shrugged, " I don't know much per say, but she wasn't alone when she left her room."

"What are you trying to say, Gotze." Thomas said. He wasn't liking were this conversation was going.

Mario took a deep breath, " I saw Bastian live her room, he left seconds before her. I don't know if they just talk or they..."

Thomas cut Mario, " Don't you dare ending that sentence."

Mario looked choked to his friend; he didn't predict such reaction from Thomas after all he and Lenny didn't get along, " Are you making a jealous scene right now? I thought you hate her."

Thomas groaned, " I'm not jealous, Mario." Maybe he was a little but he had too much pride to admit such thing, " This doesn't make sense, we talked about him yesterday."

Mario raised his eyebrow, " You talk with Lena? You guys talk without arguing.... and about Bastian?"

Thomas rolled his eyes, " Your missing the point here. Last night she was very clear to me. She said she didn't liked Bastian more than a friend."

Mario eyes widen, " You guys talked about feelings? Who the hell are you? I mean you barely speak to each other without insulting one another... Carole and Marco do that, but heck, they know each other since they were kids, you and Lena barely know each other outside your big bubble of arguments."

Thomas rolled his eyes once more, " We're trying to be friends, for god sakes! You don't need to make a novel out of this, ok. Let's just get back to the topic."

"Ok, ok." Mario replied putting his arms up in innocence, " So what's your theory about this?"

Thomas sighed, " I don't know, but I'm going to find out."

"Just don't do stupid things, the World Cup starts in a couple of days and there is no need to be problems among teammates," Mario pleaded. He knew that Thomas always went over board when dealing with Lena related issues.
