"hoseok and i were talking about the cases that were being reopened. he briefly mentioned something about how the investigating officers were incompetent and neglecting all evidence which led me to think about how they neglected it," haneul began.

"okay, and?" jin asked, urging haneul to continue.

"and, who has access to any and all evidence during the investigations?" haneul asked rhetorically.

"investigating officers," jin shrugged obliviously.

"right. so they had clear access to tamper with the evidence," haneul finished.

"but wait, hoseok and i handled the min yoongi case," jin pointed out.

"true, but when you guys arrived on scene, the evidence could've been tampered with during the overview," haneul reasoned.

"so what's their mo?"

"one of them got two girls pregnant and the other couldn't fully seduce an elder woman," haneul shrugged.

"ah. you're good," jin complemented.

haneul merely shrugged it off, anticipating the arrest of the true killers.

don't worry park jimin, we're going to get you out, haneul thought.
