the whole group was astounded by the story jin had finished telling.

jimin couldn't help but feel guilty for the pain jin and haneul went through for him and the others.

"hey, jimin. she's going to be okay. she is, in fact, one helluva fighter," jin smiled.

"thank you. for saving haneul and for helping me be released," jimin said, offering a small smile. jin nodded his head, in an acceptance sort of way.

"jimin?" a small voice said. the group of boys searched for the source before the realized it came from haneul.

"yes, haneul, i'm here," jimin murmured, gripping her hand.

"you're out," she said, a breathy laugh escaping her chapped lips.

"yes, because of you and jin," jimin chuckled, small tears escaping his eyes.

"we're going to leave you two alone," namjoon said, beckoning the rest of the boys outside. once the room door was shut, and the two were alone, jimin couldn't help but kiss haneul.

jimin pulled away, breathless. haneul smiled and squeezed jimin's head.

"you promised," jimin pouted, his eyes frantically scanning haneul's bruised face.

"i did. but i'm okay. i made it," haneul sighed.

"no more criminals, please," jimin begged. haneul laughed.

"no more criminals. not until i heal fully, that is," haneul laughed, causing jimin to chuckle and shake his head with disbelief.

jimin couldn't believe how in love he was with this woman. she went through hell and back to make sure jimin was released from prison.

"haneul, seriously. thank you," jimin said, his tone heavy. haneul just smiled and shook her head.

"i know. stop thanking me, psycho," haneul laughed.

"me psycho? you're the one who went to a psychotic killers house," jimin teased, causing haneul to laugh.

"isn't it ironic? a psychiatrist going psycho," haneul laughed.

"i think it's even more ironic how a psychiatrist fell in love with a psychopath," jimin chuckled.

"ironic or not, i'm glad this whole mission is over," haneul sighed.

"me too," jimin huffed, trying to squeeze himself next to haneul so they could cuddle.

"so what's next?" jimin asked, after momentary silence.

"whatever it is, i'm glad i get to face it with you."
