Once we entered the Castle grounds, we were immediately surprised by the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Trade carts were coming in and going, people were running to and from nearby shops selling who knows what, and there were two very loud men going on and on about how one managed to get into the courtyard where the Princess was.

All of this didn't faze our Lord though, with just a grunt, he urged his horse forward. I was about to follow him when a cuckoo bolted in between my steed's feet.
Startled, my horse reared, almost throwing me off my mount. A little girl sped past "Sorry!" She called out, finally catching up to the cuckoo and grabbing it.

In a fit of anger, I jumped off my panicked horse, trying to calm it down. After a few moments of calming it, I immediately turned to the girl, utterly enraged. I trudged towards her, the girl at once turned around and started running and screaming, this only made me even more upset. However, I felt the grip of my Lord's hands on my shoulder. "Don't bother." He simply stated

I eyed the fleeing girl carefully, "You're right..." I grumbled, and with that, I mounted up on the horse once again, and so we continued up the cobblestone path.
People stared at us, some even spit at us, or threw rocks at us, we weren't welcome there. Why would we be? 'Hylians...The stench of the land...' I thought to myself, though that is probably how they looked at us.

We finally reached the field where the castle stood, it was a large, open field with a straight path before us. At the end of this dirt path was another gate guarded by another one of the soldiers.

"I am Ganondorf, leader of the Gerudo nation, and I request passage, for I have a meeting with your King." He simply stated, the guard thought for a second, not seeming to move at all. Ganondorf sighed and pulled out a scroll with writing on it. "Read, for I have the King's signature." He said lowly, sounding very annoyed.

Without hesitation, the guard opened the gate, still a bit wary of our presence.
Our Lord went first, with us following close behind him. I was at the back, grumbling about the stupid guard. "They are wise to be weary of us, though our army is small, we can with ease invade their castle, and murder their King." I stated lowly, making sure that the distance was so far that the guard couldn't hear.

Ganondorf heard me, and he seemed amused, though he said nothing.

We finally reached the final gate where a couple of guards were positioned, I was getting ready to growl lowly if they were to ask us for proof of our meeting with their King.
"We received the message from the soldier guarding the entrance, you may pass." One of the guards said, looking straight ahead and not at us.

"You'd think that the very first guard at your very first gate would've sent you a message of our arrival, I guess that the Hylian messaging system isn't as sharp as your ears huh?" I said with a smirk.
The guard nearest of me looked highly offended, "Watch what you say or-" he started to say before being cut off.

"Leave us be, we have no time to fool around with the likes of you, a lowly guard." Ganondorf stated, and without another word, he urged his horse on, and I decided to do the same.

We entered the courtroom, it was absolutely massive. Before us was a great rug that stretched from the entrance of the room to where the King sat on his throne.
There were also guards on either sides, watching our every move as Ganondorf made his way slowly, but confidently to wear the King sat.

He then kneeled befhore the fool, and I and then other Gerudo followed along, kneeling before this trash, the very King of Hyrule.

"I commend you for travelling all this way, Lord Ganondorf. I am confident that it was a long and perilous journey." The King said, seeming amused.

"We Gerudos have endured far worse, and we still are having to endure many hardships in the present." Our Lord sighed, with his head still down.
"And so, let us come to an agreement on our diplomacy, for we are at the end of another terrible and bloody war, a war built on the very foundation of greed and hatred." He started to say, it was just then that at the corner of my eye, I noticed a young girl staring in the window when we came in! Once we made eye contact, she disappeared.

"And thus was the unification war. Our country suffered a great deal from the effects of this war.."

"We all did. It was a truly...Horrendous battle..."

"Which is why I have come to you today to discuss my allegiance to your country, will you accept my tribute of our finest stallions, as well as our rich wine?" When I heard this, a knot in my stomach grew, I couldn't stand to be in this room any longer, I had such prejudice for the Hylians, a truly disgusting lot of people.

The King however, was astonished by our King's offer, "Why, yes, I accept. I know that your stallions are the truly the finest in all of the land. Though, I know not of your wine, so therefore, I must drink of it. We shall partake of this glorious event. Will you join me on the night of the full moon? When it is in all of its glory and splendour?" The King asked, filled with delight.

Ganondorf simply smiled as he looked up, "Why yes, I would be honoured to. It is the least I could do for...A new ally of our country..."
When he finished his sentence, he also noticed that in the window of where the young girl was standing, there happened to be a young boy clad in green. This young boy also disappeared once he looked at him, and with each passing second, I grew more and more suspicious of this meeting and of the people. I felt like I had to run out and start killing people. I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath.

Ganondorf then stood up, and walked closer to the King and put his hand to his chest and performed a bow. "I shall see you again in three days, and I shall make preparations for your great tribute."
And with that, he walked out of the courtroom in a mighty stride, he cape flowing behind him.
Though Lord Ganondorf was our King, our Leader, I still felt intimidated and rather frightened by the very single actions he made. Though at the same time, it made me feel proud, and safe to know that our leader is truly the greatest, as well as the strongest. Glory be to our King and our master.
