We marched towards the CastleTown, leaving the ranch ablaze behind us. Part of our conquest was already finished.

Some of us were bruised, and broken.
My soul could not rest, knowing that we left some of our sisters behind as they lay defeated, the flames burning their flesh.

As much as I really had contempt for the Hylian race, I almost did not want to fight them. We were fairly peaceful until now. But only fairly.

We knew that they already destroyed the Sheikah race, they pretty much won every war to date.

How could we know whether or not if they would do the same to us?

This, this was surely the only way to win our freedom. We were tired of being stepped on, we refuse to continuously lick their dirty boots.

We were sub-human. Our lives held no meaning, as far as the Hylians and the surrounding races, we did not matter. We were only a desert tribe residing within the harsh sands. No. We didn't matter at all to them.

The time to fight was now. I spent my entire life training myself for this, and never, after all my efforts to fight, will I ever roll in the sand again. I refuse to watch as my fellow sisters, as well as King live off in the harsh sun and burning desert sand, struggling to just get a small taste of scrumptious food. Never, again.

We had finally approached the castle, another leader, the Captain of the Hylian troop stood before us, as we destroyed the last commander.

"Though you may have been successful in the destruction of LonLon ranch, you will fail to get through our fortified castle town." The Captain called out.

"This is your last chance, surrender or die!"

I snuck amongst the Gerudo crowd, bow and arrow in hand. I knew that I would regret this later, but I had to do it. Slowly but carefully, I aimed my arrow towards the captains head, seeking to take him down in one shot. Once my target was sure, I released the arrow, a wave of grim satisfaction went over me as I watched the arrow fly right towards the man's head, piercing through his skull. He fell to the ground, dead.

A call of battle was then heard by the surrounding Hylian troops, Gorons came rolling from the castle drawbridge, rolling right towards us!

Their captain has fallen, surely they will all be helter-skelter! As they have nobody to command them!

The rolling gorons came right towards us as Hylian troops were at their flank. We dug our soles into the ground to prepare ourselves for the oncoming boulder-like attack.

The gorons hit us, sending us off like bowling pins. At the last moment, I drew my sword, and dug it into the oncoming Goron's flesh, defeating it.

The Gerudos around me did the same.

For a moment, it seemed as if we were winning this first wave...However, I looked and saw in the corner of my eye, Zarue was struck! She lay on the ground, crushed by one of the gorons.

I ran to her side to ease her pain.

"Zarue! Speak to me!" I cried out, turning her over. She looked at me and smiled a weak smile as a groan escaped her.

"I'm alright..." She simply said in response. "Can you stand?" I asked her, taking her by the arm. She slowly stood, her legs wobbly.

"You cannot fight in such a condition..." I warned her, trying to keep her steady. "You kidding?" She scoffed, "I am a warrior, but not any warrior. I am a Gerudo warrior. And if you think that some goron can bring me down...Well..." She tried to finish as she stumbled, trying to walk. I rolled my eyes, she was truly a prideful person, just like me.

"At least rest a bit..." she sighed in submission as I guided her to a rock, avoiding arrows, gorons, and whatever was thrown at us.

"What goron hit you?" I asked her, my teeth grinding, I was absolutely enraged.

"They all look alike to me..." She grumbled, "Try..." I pressed.

She looked and studied the battle taking place.

"That one." She pointed to a goron, it seemed a little bit larger than the rest, though it certainly wasn't the chief. This goron had a white band around his head, it seemed like her was injured previously.

"Wait here..." I growled, unsheathing my sword. "Don't you dare move!"

She crossed her arms and pouted as I turned around to face the battle going on. I slowly made my way to this goron, my eyes stayed upon him like an eagle.

When I was close enough to him, I jumped into the air, landing right in front of him.

He saw me, shocked for a moment.

In a split second, he tried to punch me, his fists curled. I barely dodged the both of them. I was already tired by the current battle, so of course my evasiveness wasn't at its peak.

Not wanting to make this go on forever, I swung my blade, and pierced it right into his gut. When I was trying to pull it out, he started to fall...Right onto me!

Before I could act, his dead body toppled over me, I struggled against his heavy body as it crushed me.

"By the sand goddess...Help me!" I cried out to some nearby Gerudos. And with their aid, they managed to lift the fallen goron off of me.

The battle was nearly done already, it seemed to go back and forth really...Between the Gerudos winning, and then it turned over to the Hylians, back and forth, back and forth.

We were already inside the castle, the Gerudos bearing torches already lit the place up, lighting homes and stands on fire. I entered the town only to be greeted by an absolutely enraged Hylian soldier, he challenged me to a duel, the fire was already spreading around us. I couldn't risk being burned alive along with him. Though if I tried to escape, my back would have to face him, leaving me vulnerable. I had no choice, but to accept his challenge. I had to bring him down quickly if I were to have any chances to escape.

I readied my sword, keeping eye contact with him as he did the same. He then landed the first blow, we went face-to-face in a great sword battle, I felt his weight upon me as he tried pushing me into the flames.

I fought back by trying to very quickly move to the side, maneuvering him to go towards the flames. He broke sword contact, and made me jump backwards while attempting to perform a stab.

We circled one another, I was trying to find an opening so I could very quickly bring him down. Time was running out, the flames had already engulfed the surrounding objects on flames, it formed a circle around us, and with every moment passing, that circle became smaller and smaller. I had to finish this fight, before we both perish by the flames!

He saw that I was distracted by the surrounding flames, and saw this as his opportunity to push me in. He charged with his sword, and successfully managed to get me so close to the flames, that my torso was already burning, the flames scorching my skin, burning it.

While part of my body lay near the flames, he came upon me, sword drawn. And in a quick movement, he tried to dig his blade into me, finishing me off. He had failed, as I at the last moment managed to roll to the side, avoiding it.

Knowing that this was my last chance, I raised my blade, and swung it towards his neck, decapitating him. It was a gruesome sight that even made my stomach churn. I managed to extinguish myself, as fire was already upon my clothes, burning it.

The flames had already surrounded me, I felt the heat upon my skin as I managed to stand up. I either wait here for help, and risk dying in the process, or risked dying by attempting to leap over the flames.

The choice was mine to make, time was running out. So it was the time to make the decision.
