"Is everything alright my Lord?" I ask, "Are you ill?"

He simply waved his hand, and turned away from us, he said not a single word.

He remembered being in the lush and green forest... The Lost Woods.

"Give it to me now!"

"No matter how the wind howls, the mountain cannot bow to it." The Deku Tree responded lowly, his voice shaking the ground.

"Very well... I have no choice then..." He paused, then he opened his palms to the air. "Aka makel dur em que Gohma!!"

The ground trembled and shook, the trees bowed lowly to the dark as the clouds turned from a pleasant white to black. The wind howled and the tree branches cracked.
The earth started breaking apart, and out came a giant insect. The Dark Lord then pointed in the direction of the Deku Tree, and there the insect went.

With a great insect-like screech, it started digging into the Deku Tree's wooden flesh, scraping a hole into him. The Deku Tree wailed in pain. "Give me the Spiritual Stone!" He called out again.

The Great Deku Tree didn't respond, so the giant Gohma continued to dig into his flesh until it made a gaping hole, and inside the Gohma crawled in, making its nest.

The Dark Lord then sighed a low breath, turned around, and disappeared into the forest's darkness.

That same night, he had a dream about a small boy, clad in green accompanied by a fairy. And in his hand, he held a green, shining stone...The Kokiri's emerald!

"My Lord...Are you alright?" I asked again. He then turned to face me, staring me down with his gleaming yellow eyes. He seemed rather frightening.

He simply grunted, and without another word, he pushed past us and walked out the door. Without wasting a second, Zarue and I followed him outside, he was mounting his horse, so we both decided to as well.

"Where to my Lord?" Zarue asked, she seemed almost afraid to ask that question.
"That boy..........." He responded in a growl, Zarue and I turned to look at eachother.

Ganondorf then clutched his reins firmly, and kicked his steed, immediately pressing it into a gallop. Zarue and I did the same, I looked in the direction we were headed, and in the distance stood a giant mountain with a ring of grey smoke around its top.

"Death Mountain..." Zarue breathed, seeming quite in awe.

We arrived at the gates, not a single soldier was stationed there, and so, without stopping, our Lord galloped on his great horse past the townspeople, up the few sets of diagonal steps, and through the final gate, we reached our destination... The foot of Death Mountain.

We scaled this great mountain, careful as to not fall off the edge, for the pathway up the mountain was narrow, and rocky. Ganondorf said not a single word.

With each step we took, the air seemed to be getting warmer and warmer, not that this heat bothered us, for we are Gerudos, we grew up in a place with a harsher climate than this.

We were almost at the top, and there before us stood a great cave. A goron exited the cave along with a small group of other gorons, this one goron leading them though seemed to be the largest out of all of them, he was obviously the chief, as he bore marks upon his stomach, and in his hands was a shining, red stone.

The large goron looked upon us and was astonished, he turned to his people, and exclaimed in their own Goronian language, immediately the goron people began to flee. Ganondorf however paid no attention to them, for his attention was focused on the single goron leader.

"Ask not why I am here, for I did not come here to harm you. For I only want that stone you hold in your hand..." Ganondorf said lowly, keeping his harsh eyes on the single goron.

"I know who you are...And I will never hand it over to the likes of you!" And with that, a magical force surrounded him, and the stone he held disappeared. Our Lord then immediately pointed at him, giving us the sign to attack. Zarue and I immediately sprang forward, and came upon the goron, slashing him with our swords.

"I will give you one more chance. Give me that stone, or face the starvation of your people, and watch them die!"

Zarue held him back while I positioned my sword to slit his throat once the order was given.

"So be it..." Ganondorf murmured lowly, he then outstretched his hand, opening his palm. A purple aura was emitted from his hand, it grew slowly into a giant, dark energy ball. Once it grew to full size, he aimed it to a part of the mountain, and released it, blasting open the mountain, unleashing an avalanche of boulders. I immediately let go of the goron leader, while Zarue still had her eyes on the boulder coming right towards us. Knowing that she would get crushed if I didn't do something, I grabbed her hand, and pulled her towards me, shielding us both from the falling rocks.

The dust settled and the entrance to the cave was covered, the goron leader was nowhere in sight, he was sure to have been buried by the fallen rocks.

Ganondorf studied the sight, his expression unchanging. He was our great and powerful King, though I saw somewhere, among his features, there was a sign of regret and sadness. I knew that he didn't want to do it, but he had to. He stood there, his long and dark cape swaying in the wind.

Then, without another word, he turned to face us, yet he did not look at us. He only mounted up on his steed, and beckoned us to follow.

We had finally reached the bottom of the great mountain, the entire time, my Lord had said nothing.
We had not have eaten since we arrived at the castle, though our Lord hasn't eaten since we left our country. Zarue and I both tried to offer him food, and even tried to have him eat our rations instead, yet every time, he turned it down.

"Master..." I said, urging my horse closer to him, it was then that I got a closer look at his face, his face was covered in scars from the sharp, blowing sand. One was still open, and never seemed to have healed. His face was scorched and darkened by the intense heat of the desert, it made his face seem calloused, just like his heart.

"What are your orders, my Lord?" I murmured, almost too afraid to question him.
He simply looked at me, his yellow eyes focusing on mine.
