Havyn's P.O.V.
(Hours later)
"So," I start. "You bought this place for us?"
"I did," Kai answers, looking around the condo with a smile on his face.
"Why?" I ask, curiously. "We have my house to live in, and besides I know that this place's rent isn't going to be cheap. Why not just continue living at my house? We could have hired the interior decorator to redo it."
"I figured we both needed a fresh start," he replies, shrugging his shoulders. "And especially now since we have a baby on the way." He pauses to rub my stomach, which makes me giggle. "I just thought we needed a new scenery."
I nod my head, agreeing.
"My Dad's will," I say, not even thinking. "I never read it. Did he even leave me the house?"
"He left you everything," Kai says, running his hands through his hair. "You were so distracted that afternoon with the letter from your Dad, that you didn't even both looking at it, so I did. I knew that you would eventually think of it, because I know you so well and all. You may want to sit back and relax."
I take a deep breath, preparing myself.
"What do you mean he left me everything?" I ask, cocking my head to the side.
"I mean exactly that," he replies. "Your father left you the house, his business, all of those vintage cars in the garage, and his entire fortune."
I suck in a big bubble of air.
"Everything," I echo the single word. "He left me everything."
Kai nods his head.
"You're rich, Havyn."
...................................................
The next morning I wake up on the couch in the condo, Kai behind me with his arms wrapped around me tightly. His face is buried in my curtain of hair, hiding his features that I admire when he in this state, so I swiftly pull my hair away from. His nose twitches, which makes me giggle silently. I try to be as quiet as possible, not wanting to wake him. For a few minutes I just want to lay here and take him in like this, so peaceful and content.
I find my mind drifting off to our future together that will really start in less than six months, when our little boy makes his grand appearance in this world. A smile appears on my face imagining Kai holding our son soon. I almost want to laugh at how silly it will look with Kai's large build holding something so small and fragile. I think of how it will feel with my son's tiny finger wrapped around my finger, gripping on tightly. Kai stirs beside me, snapping me back to here and now. His chocolate eyes are open slightly, a sleepy smile on his lips. I lean forward, pecking him on the lips before jumping off of the couch.
"Where are you going?" Kai asks, yawning.
"To call Sarah and the rest of the guys," I answer.
"This early?"
"It's already past three o'clock!" I exclaim, chuckling.
Kai laughs, softly.
"Sarah is probably freaking out," I say, checking my phone. "Oh my god, they are going to kill us! I legit have twenty-three missed calls and like over a hundred messages from not just Sarah, but from the rest of the guys, too."
It takes five phone calls to all of our friends to assure everyone that we are both alive and safe. Sarah said more than enough vulgar words to make my cheeks blush, and that says something with my own sailor mouth. Chris was practically in tears on the other line, his voice really shaky, making me feel really bad, which he added that it should make me feel that way. Matt was a little less freaked out than Sarah and Chris, assuming that I was just avoiding people like I did. Jaxon wasn't so mad, just a tad bit. Finn of course guessed that Kai and myself spent the entire night locked away in my room making passionate, forgiving sex. Typical Finn.
"I still haven't told my parents," Kai says, quickly.
"Wait, what?" I ask, my mouth dropping open. "Kai!"
"I'll call them," he says, reaching for his phone.
I snatch it before he can grab it.
"You are not telling them that they are going to be grandparents over the phone!" I shout, shaking my head vigorously. "We are going to go tell them today in person, and then after that we are going out with all of our friends so we can tell them what we are having. Understand?"
"Yes ma'am," Kai smirks.
.........................................
I've only been to Kai's house once, and that was to pick him up for another party, but I never went inside. Like the other houses in his neighborhood, his house is enormous, much like mine, only a tad smaller. Walking inside for the first time was unfamiliar, a feeling that I don't like. Immediately we are greeted by Kai's mother, Misty, who wraps her arms around me tightly. Kai's father, Thomas, walks into the room next, smiling. A little girl runs into the room, Indiana I assume, jumping onto Kai, wrapping her small arms around his legs, holding on like a koala.
"Havyn, how have you been sweetie?" Misty asks, beaming.
"I've been doing really good," I answer, smiling. "How have you all been?"
"Very well," Thomas replies. "Thank you for asking."
"Are you Kai's girlfriend?" Indiana asks, still holding onto her brothers leg.
"Yes she is," Kai nods, looking down at his little sister.
"You're pretty," Indiana giggles.
I smile.
"You are way prettier," I whisper into her ear.
She giggles even louder and runs off.
"Mom," Kai says, his voice strained. "Dad. We need to tell you two something."
"Is everything okay?" Misty questions, a worried expression on her face.
"Come and sit," Thomas adds, gesturing towards the living room.
We all walk into the large living room, Kai and myself sitting on the love seat, while Misty and Thomas sit on the couch adjacent of us. For a few minutes we all sit there in awkward silence, staring at one another. I nudge Kai in the ribs, wanting him to speak.
"Havyn's pregnant," Kai says, quickly, breathing hard.
My eyes grow large. Way to be subtle, Kai freaking Prince.
"Is this true?" Thomas questions, looking in my direction.
"Yes" I nod my head along with my answer. "But I promise that you two won't have to support us in any way, and that we are both still intending on going to college and having careers. We can completely do this."
Misty jumps off of the couch, clapping her hands together.
Kai almost faints at the site.
"This is so great!" Misty exclaims. "We are going to be grandparents, Tom."
Thomas nods his head, mouth slightly open.
"How far along are you?" Misty asks, sitting on the coffee table in front of me.
"A little over three and a half months," I answer.
"Do you know what the sex of the baby is?" Tom asks.
"It's a boy," Kai answers this time, proudly.
Misty squeals again.
"Congratulations!" she shouts.

What did you guys think about this chapter? A lot of you angels probably thought his parents were going to react different, right? My original plan was to write this chapter with his parents furious, but then again I did this for a specific reason you will all soon know.
