Author's Note: The video above is a song that I love to sing in the car, so I added it above for anyone who wants to listen.

"I Took A Pill in Ibiza," by Mike Posner

Havyn's P.O.V.

I catch Kai out of the corner of my air staring at me with a big smile on his face. The way he is looking at me is something I am not used to. His eyes are filled with emotions that I cannot quite decipher. Admiration? Awe? Something more? No clue. I continue on singing my heart out to yet another song on the radio, flipping my hair around as the beat rises. The wind keeps blowing it backwards. I keep laughing at how ridiculous I probably look to Kai. Riding in a vehicle with me is something that he will gets used to with some time. I will eventually get him to crack out his hard ass shell and have just as much fun.

"Are you going to tell me where we are going yet?" Kai asks, turning down the radio.

"Patience young grasshopper," I say, trying my best to mimic an old man's raspy voice, but fail miserably. The act makes my voice itch, causing me to have a coughing fit. Kai throws his head back and laughs his deep and sexy laugh. "Shut up."

Kai reaches across the console, taking my hand in his hand, intertwining out fingers. He brings the back of my hand to his lips, letting them linger for a while. The kiss sends chills down my spine, making me shiver.

"How much longer?" he asks.

I come to a halt in front of the familiar hiking trail, climbing out of the truck. Kai follows me lead, walking around to the front to meet, wrapping his arms around my waist and burying his face into my neck. He plans a gentle kiss right under my ear. I gasp softly.

"Not now," I whisper, still wanting more. "I have set time aside for that."

"Oh, have you?" he asks, huskily.

I shoot him a flirtatious wink.

"So we are going on a hike?" Kai asks, changing the subject.

"You'll see," I giggle.

I grab his hand into mind and pull him after me at a fast pace. Every time I glance back over my shoulder at him, a bright smile is on his face, which makes my smile even bigger if that is even possible. My cheeks are starting to pure cramp at all the smiling, just like my stomach is sore from all the laughing. Who would have known that Eastside's Bad Boy, Kai Prince, is all I ever need in my life to feel adventurous. Whenever we are together, whether just sitting quietly in the same room or laughing our asses off, I feel like I am taking on a new part of life with him. A life that I am slowly starting to find myself craving more and more  of everyday.

When I see the piece of white fabric blowing in the breeze tied around the oak tree ahead, I am about to burst with happiness and excitement. I tug Kai after me quicker than before, turning at the tree. We have to duck under branches and jump over thorns, but in the end it is all worth it. We walk out into the clearing. Everything is exactly as I remember it. I drop Kai's hand and take off running towards the edge, pulling my shirt over my head as I do and stripping from my shorts. Just as Kai screams my name, I jump off of the cliff. The wind rushes up around me until I am submerged into the warm ocean water thirty feet below.

Kai is standing at the edge of the cliff looking down at the water when I emerge. A look of relief washes over his terrified face. I push my wet hair out of my face, laughing at him. I kick my legs rapidly to the current, treading the water. My muscles begin to burn so I shift onto my back, letting the waves rock me and back forth. The sound of water splashing catches me off guard. I sit back up looking around me. Suddenly something grabs onto my ankle and I am pulled under. I open my eyes underneath the water, ignoring the sting of the salty water. My eyes adjust quickly. Kai is beside me, smiling ferociously. I reach out to shove his chest, but he takes the opportunity to catch my arm and yank me towards him, smashing my lips into his. The kiss doesn't last long because of the whole lack of oxygen thing. We are forced to resurface.

"You scared the hell out of me," Kai says, breathing heavily.

"I know," I laugh, still taking in the oxygen in a large supply. "The look on your face was priceless!"

"Oh, really?" he asks, sarcastically. I nod my head sill laughing. "The look on your face was probably even better. You looked like a shark got or something. When I brought you under, your face was all squinted together."

"Shut up," I grumble.

This time Kai throws his head back laughing. The second his eyes close, I dunk him underneath the water. When he comes back off spitting out water, I try to hide the chuckling that is begging to escape my throat. A devious grin spreads across his face. Before I can even process what is happening, I am being thrown through the air, splashing in the distance. I kick back to the top, catching Kai swimming towards me laughing.

"Jerk," I say, spitting the leftover water in my mouth into his face.

"Hey!" Kai protests, splashing water continuously at my face.

"Okay, okay," I say, throwing my hands up to surrender. "Stop."

"Is Havyn Holloway backing out of a fight?" he asks, acting surprised.

"Only this once, Prince."

"We are calling each other by our last names now, Holloway?" he asks, mocking me.

"That's right, Prince," I chuckle. "So, are you having the time of your life yet?"

"I'll admit that was pretty damn fun," Kai says, smiling. "How did you even find this place?"

"Sarah, Chris, Matt, and myself found it last year," I answer.

I remember that day like it was just yesterday. Sarah had a genius idea to go on a hike. She said something about how we all needed to embrace nature a little more. I told her she was full of shit, which earned me the middle finger. We were following the trail accordingly when Chris has the idea to slap my ass with a branch. I picked up the same branch and started chasing him. We stumbled onto the clearance. Sarah and Matt had already joined us by the time we were over looking the cliff. Once I knew I wouldn't get myself killed, I took several large steps backwards and stripped. I still remember their terrified shouts as I leaped into the water. Their faces we just as priceless as Kai's.

"How long have you all been friends?" Kai asks, snatching me back to reality.

"I met Sarah in kindergarten," I say, smiling. "Then Matt in fourth grade, who followed Sarah and myself around like a lost little puppy. We kind of just took him under our wing. Chris didn't come along until sixth grade. He moved with his family here because his Father got transferred to Eastside's military base. After that, we all stayed together and never once thought about leaving anyone behind. They are like the siblings I never had but always wished for."

"You don't want siblings, trust me," he scoffs.

"Wait, you have some?" I ask, taken back.

"Two," he says, holding up the right number of fingers. "Ryder is my older brother. He is living overstates right now attending some prestigious medical school. My parents roped him into their world by the time he was seven I swear. Indiana, or Indy as I call her, is my little sister. She is the most annoying person in the world, constantly nagging me about stuff. I don't see her much because I am never ever really home and when I am, she is already in bed sleeping."

"I thought I was the most annoying person in the world?" I ask, acting hurt.

"You are definitely tied with Indy," he smirks.

"Jerk."

And the sleepover continues into the next chapter because a lot of important things are to be found out.
