"Yo bring your ass outside!"
"Ight." I hung up and grabbed my stuff and ran outside.
"Have a good day honey, Hey Jarvis." I looked back seeing my mom in the doorway waving.
"Hey Mrs. Van Norman."Jarvis greeted. I jumped in his car waving goodbye to my mom. Jarvis drove off slowly since my mom was watching ,but soon as we turn the corner he sprinted off to the highway. "What it do O."
"Nothing much." I looked down fooling with my phone.
"What you and hotspot do yesterday and Saturday?"
"Nothing really chilled at my house."
"His mom was calling?"
"Nah.." I looked out the window. Jarvis had his aux cord in and drake ft partynextdoor came on that stupid song 'come and see me'. Actually was a nice song before I stopped liking that nigga. I lowing the volume all the way to mute.
"Aye what's wrong with your ass?" Jarvis shoved me.
"The song stupid." I rolled my eyes.
"But you like all drake songs."
"I was faking that."
"What happen this weekend? Did someone say it's gay to like drake? They just jealous O!" I exhaled loudly.
"No one said that." I rolled my eyes.
"Well wassup then?"
"Remember you told me to make my move before someone take Ari?"
"Mhmm." Jarvis nodded.
"Well someone took her."
"Nooo O you let another nigga get Ari?"
"Well not just any niggà."I looked down.
"A nerdy niggà?" I shook my head no. "A rich nigga?" I nodded. "Woah O you let a rich snob take your women. Boy you ain't ever gonna get her back." Jarvis started to laugh.
"Man shit not even funny. I'm gonna end that relationship. Just let him take her to prom then I'll win my crown and she'll win hers and we'll live happily ever after." I smirked.
"Right she'll leave the rich guy for a non-rich guy."
"This guy got hoes tons of them. He's actually just taking her to prom ,if nothing else sparks they won't have a relationship. "
"You got hoes to niggà tf you mean? Something gonna spark Ari a pretty girl he'll make it spark enough for him to get in them panties." I felt my jaw tighten as he parked the car in the teachers only parking lot. "Let's go."
I got out the car not talking or looking at the teachers watching us walk out of their parking lot.
"But wait what that got to do with drake?"
"Well... Drake is that niggà." Jarvis stopped and his mouth dropped to the ground.
"Hey Jarvis, hey Odell." Stephanie one of the cheerleaders waved.
"Hey." I said blankly. Jarvis mouth was still open. "Close yo mouth that girl tryna talk to you." I looked at Stephanie and smiled.
"Oh hey Amber." I looked back at Jarvis with a really face. This nigga always get girls name wrong.
"It's Stephanie." She glared at him.
"Ohhh well hey Stephanie ,Vanessa , Amber whatever the fuck your name is." He rolled his eyes and looked at me.
"Didn't you fuck her like last week?" Jarvis nodded chewing on his gum. I just shook my head and looked around campus.
"Aye ill catch you later." I dapped Jarvis off and walked off. I looked over seeing Normani. "Say mani." I grabbed her hand pulling her by a vending machine.
"Wassup Odell."
"I'm guessing you heard.."
"About Jay and Beyonce divorcing? Because I'm sad also about it."mani rubbed her eyes.
"Wait what? Noo.. I'm talking about Ari going to prom with drake." I whispered.
"Ari going to prom with drake!!" Normani jumped around screaming. I covered her mouth and shhed her.
"Chill everybody don't need to know." She nodded and calmed down. "But yeah she's going with him." I looked down.
"That's great but also sad for you. We've been so sneaky abo-"
"Sneaky about what?" Ari popped up with Jordan behind her.
"Ughh..."
"Hey Ari.. I'll talk to you later O." Mani grabbed Jordan and walked off. Now why she leaving me to do this alone.
"Sneaky about what?"Ari repeated.
"Nothing we was talking about a show about a sneaky raccoon." I nodded.
"Ohh kay." She looked around. I can tell she didn't believe me.
"So how you doing?" I looked at her.
"I'm good,hang over went away." She laughed. I smiled and nodded. "I also even got a date for prom."
"Really who is that?" I acted like I didn't already know it was that aggravating cry baby nigga drake.
"Drake the rapper." She smiled. I can tell she excited about it.
"Drake? Wow that's great." I smiled. Good thing Jordan not here he would spill the tea saying we was outside when he proposed.
"Yeah I'm excited!" She smiled.
"Well he'll be a little upset that night." Her eyebrows furrowed up.
"What do you mean?"
"The Prom king and prom queen get a free hotel room and spend the whole weekend together." I smirked. She began to laugh and walked closer to me. Oh shit she Finna say some freaky shit.
"I hope you and Kylie enjoy that suit." She whispered and walked off laughing. Man wtf?
"Very funny Ari!" I yelled after her she turned back and smirked. Ugh this killing me.
