I stayed by Heather that whole night crying and talking. She told me I didn't have to go to school,but I missed it yesterday since it was some field trip they was having. I didn't want to mess up my attendance at the end of the school year.
Walking the halls I felt like everyone was watching me. Honestly didn't give a fuck just tryna turn all my end of the year shit in and go. Didn't see Odell at all today which made me feel better. "Wassup Ari." I looked at fizz and gave him a weak smile. My eyes was so red and puffy.
"What's wrong?" I shook my head and looked at everyone who passed. Then I spotted him at the end of the hall smiling and talking to someone.
"I got to go." I said not even above a whisper. He grabbed my arm and made me look at him.
"Why you acting like this? And why your face so red?" I shrugged. "Did someone hurt you Ari?"I felt a tear hit my cheek so I pulled away from him and walked away.
I honestly can't do it man. I wish I was stronger and can say fuck it and just be over with. We did so much together I cant picture my life without him. Decided to just fuck the attendance and text Heather to get me.
Jarvis Pov
I kept hearing shit about Ari around school which was confusing me. I saw O and a group of dudes on the team talking and laughing.
"Say O." He looked at me. "I gotta talk to you Bruh." He nodded and dismissed everyone away from him.
"Wassup."
"I'm hearing shit around school that you and Ari broke up." He crossed his arms and nodded. "That's true?"
"Yup."
"Why y'all broke up and how it got around school that fast?"
"Her stupid ass must of told people." It stung hearing him call her stupid.

"Why you so hard up on her?" I just shook my head.
"Not hard up she just my friend would be like that with anyone I'm cool with."
"You still got feelings for her huh?" O asked making me feel nervous.
"Nah nah not even like that."
"If you did I wouldn't care man wasn't even a real relationship me and her had." I felt taking back. This girl put everything aside to be with him why he acting like that?
"That girl did everything for you man."
"Y'all think that,but behind close doors we wasn't doing much."
"You talking about sex dawg?" Odell laughed.
"That too we didn't have sex."
"You left her because of sex!?" I yelled starting to get frustrated.
"Yeah nigga we wasn't doing shit so I found other people."
"Am I talking to the same nigga who was just blushing over this girl at the beginning of the school year?"
"That niggà gone." He kept laughing.
"That shit not even funny O! Watch when she get another niggà you gonna be destroyed."

"I might fucking be!" I got in his face. The love I had for Ari never changed always had feelings for her just kept it low.
"You know ion even care you always want my after mass. So do you baby." He hit my shoulder and walked off.
"That shit was crazy...."Christian and that Asian girl Tyla was standing there looking.
"Is Ari still here?" She looked nervous. I shrugged and walked passed them. If she was here I wanted to be the first to find her.
Ari Pov
People stayed watching me as I sat on the curb waiting for Heather. Odell surely know how to get news out I see. I was so devastated at what just happen. It made my body go cold just thinking about it.
I saw Heather car pull up in front me. She got out the car and grabbed my bag and open the door for me. I got in as she closed the door for me and ran to the other side to get in.
"Hey Ari are you hungry?" I shook my head. I felt her staring at me. I hated having people feel bad for me. "Did he tell you something." I shook my head and stayed looking out the window. "We did good with talking last night come on spit it out.
"Everyone was looking at me like they feel bad." I paused and felt my throat start to hurt. "I saw him smiling and laughing like nothing even happen." My voice was kinda quiet because of the amount of pain I'm in. I hate letting him win I really want to become stronger.
"This shit happen Ari,but you will get better I swear. You will look back and say why I was crying for this sorry ass niggà. He's young which doesn't make what he did any better,but guys do make mistakes like this and end up regretting it." I nodded and wipe my face. "Someone better will come in your life I promise."
My phone ding letting me know I have a message. I unlocked my phone and saw it was a messages from Jarvis.
Jarvis: where you at?
Me: going by Heather house.
Jarvis: I can slide pass?
Me: if I'm still there when you get out of school ,yeah.
Jarvis: I'm finna leave now it's boring
without you. I laughed and smile.
Me: wanna go out to eat and eat this time?
Jarvis: fucking right!😊
Me: same spot as yesterday meet you in 20.
Jarvis: Ight Ari baby.
I locked my phone and laid my head on the window. "Who got you smiling like that?" I smiled.
"Jarvis Landry." Heather stopped the car.
"Spill bitch now you messing with Odell best friend?"
"Oh no I'm not that big of a hoe." I shook my head.
"Well whatever he said got your spirit happy." I smiled and looked down.
"He's a bomb ass friend." I laughed. Heather smiled and rubbed my hand.
"Maybe a even better boyfriend." I pushed her hand and started laughing with her.
