"Can you believe we're actually going to prom tomorrow? And it's going to be our last time going to school with each other in a few days.." Normani danced around in her prom dress in my mirror.
"Nope can't believe it at all." I looked over at my phone.

"Huh." I stayed looking at my phone.
"Why you acting like that?" She sat on my bed waving her hand in my face.
"Like what?" I looked at her and pushed her hand out my face.
"Like your not interested. Is something wrong?"
"Well kinda Odell haven't text me all day. Like he's avoiding me. Last time we really talked was 2 days ago in the gym." I put my phone down and explained my situation to Normani.
"Ohhh so your liking Mr. Wide receiver now?" Mani wiggled her eyebrows.
"No chill. Odell is like a close friend that's all." I rolled my eyes.
"What you said to him for him to go MIA?" She started to dance around in the mirror again with her dress.
"I don't know last time we talked it was mostly about stop being mad at Christian and stop worrying about Luther." I shrugged.
"Anything else? Did you say someone was cute,because guys hate to hear about girls bragging about other guys."
"No didn't brag about any guy."
"Well I don't kn*..Wait didn't you say he's a close friend?" Mani stopped dancing and turned around looking at me.
"Yeah..." I shrugged not getting how this can tell why Odell is upset with me.
"And how he feels about that?" I shrugged not getting what she means about that.
"Odell feel the same way."
"Did he tell you that?"
"No but I can tell he does. Don't think we are still acquaintances."I chuckled.
"Yeah,but have you ever called him a good friend recently? Or a good buddy?" I thought back to that day and it hit me.
"I did say your a good friend,because he helped with the Luther situation."
"Ha!" She yelled. "That's it! You friend zoned him." She smiled.
"That's why he mad?"I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Mhmm." She nodded. Her phone made a beeping noise. She picked it up and rolled her eyes. "Oooo Ari I have to go. See you tomorrow." She hugged me and ran off. Guessing her folks wanted her home.
So Odell is really mad at me because I said he was a good friend. I thought Odell said he doesn't do relationships? I'm not really sure until I hear it from the mouth of Odell. I unlocked my window and picked up my phone.

I read over the message a few times. I debated for a while if I should go see her or not. I had way to much pride to go over their being her friend and letting her win,but at the same time I honestly missed her and wanted to see what's up.
I rolled my eyes and walked over to her house. I'll come but I'm not going to come the way she want me to.
Heather was standing in her door way staring at something.
"Odell, how you doing?" Heather smiled at me.
"I'm good , how are you?" I smiled.
"I'm good. Ari is upstairs if you came to see her." Heath let me in.
"I did she called me over for some math project so I said I'll be right over." I smiled and put my hands in my pockets. Lying my ass off.
"Oh ok well she's up their go see what's up. I'll be out here fixing up the garden." I nodded and went up stairs. I examine every door trying too see which one hers.
I open a black door reviling a knocked out Ari. She was over her covers shivering. Her window was open so I closed it and put a cover over her. She started to move around like she was having another one of those bad dreams.
"Dad come back!" She yelled. "I'll do better please don't leave us!" She whined. "I'm sorry." I saw a tear fall. I was debating again should I wipe it or not. I decide to wipe it so she'll wake up. What happen to her dad? Why she always having bad dreams?
When I touched her skin she stop moving and her eyes popped open. "Your late." She closed her eyes back.
"Didn't know I had to be here at a certain time." She open her eyes and rolled them.
"You closed my window back?"
"I did,but I didn't take it to get in here."
"How you get in then." She furrowed her eyebrows.
"A door that's downstairs with a doorbell."I said sarcastically.
"Stop being a dork." She rolled her eyes. I chuckled and watched her. Arianna was truly a beautiful girl I felt bad for all those times I took an advantage of her. "Lay with me." She whispered. My body became cold is she for real?
"What?" I asked even though I heard her and understand the first time.
"You heard me the first time Beckham." I furrowed my eyebrows I'm thinking out loud? "Yes you are." She smiled. I chuckled and got in the bed. "Can't believe Heath let you in." She turned and laid on my chest.
"I was surprised myself." I chuckled.
"I was meaning to ask you something that's why I invited you." She grabbed my hand playing with it. "Are you falling for me?" Oh shit..
