Okay guys, I was going to wait to post this one, but then... I actually got votes! This is a first for me, and I'm too excited to wait to post the next chapter. This is a one-time thing though, so don't get used to it. It's kind of like a reward, I guess. Thank you for voting, it means so much to me!!! <3 So here is chapter four, hope you like it as much as I do!
“Five, six, seven, eight!” I called, watching them butcher my steps. “Okay, stop! Liam, what did I say about smiling? And Louis, what in the world was that step you just did? It was not what I showed you. Harry, keep to the counts! You're two counts fast. And Niall, I know you're hungry. I know. I am too. But you need to get this right!” I told them, agitated.
“What about me?” Zayn asked, confused. I smiled at him. He was the only one who actually had the steps down. We'd been at it for three hours, and he'd gotten it after the first.
“You're fine, love. You actually have it already. I'm impressed, I was pretty sure you would be the last to get it,” I informed him.
“Well, I showed you,” he told me, winking. I laughed.
“If you want to take a break, have at it. I'm going to finish with these guys. Unless you want to try to help. I'd love you forever!” I told him. He blushed.
“Yeah, I mean I can try. I'm just gonna grab some water first,” he replied. He left the stage to head back to the dressing room and I turned back to the others.
“Someone has a crush!” Louis giggled. I rolled my eyes.
“You can gossip when you learn this dance. Come on guys, you have two more after this! This could take all night!” I snapped. I was losing my patience with them. “I really don't want to change the steps, because some of us have already learned them! I think even Paul could do it by now!”
“Hey now, don't bring me into this! But, if you were actually asking, I could,” he called from the audience. I laughed.
“Want to come show them how it's done?” I called back. He laughed.
“I'll sit this one out, Haley. You're a bear when you teach!” he replied. I could hear the humor in his voice, so I shook his statement off.
“Your loss. Okay boys, again!” I instructed.
We finished up on the third dance at 5:30 in the morning. I was exhausted, and I'd done a fair amount of dancing. Zayn continued to amaze me by learning each dance within the first hour of starting. The tie for worst dancer was between Niall and Harry, which surprised me just as much. I thought Harry would be decent at it.
“Okay guys, let's go get some sleep,” I said softly, forcing myself to stay standing. “I want you to stretch your muscles before you sit anywhere, because you will be less likely to cramp,” I added. I was in the middle of stretching myself.
“Stretching? Like our calves?” Liam asked. I nodded, pulling my foot back behind my head in a perfect dancer pose.
“Whoa, you're really flexible!” Harry exclaimed.
“Comes with the territory. Maybe someday I'll get you just as flexible. No, not like that!” I replied. He'd been leering at me, and I smacked him as hard as I could. As I was so exhausted, it wasn't much. He feigned hurt and went to stand in a corner.
“We should head back to the bus. We have a hotel, but I don't think we'd be awake when we got there,” Liam said. He looped his arm through Niall's and practically dragged him out the door. Louis and Harry were leaning on each other heavily as they walked out. Zayn walked over to me and offered me a hand. I smiled and let him pull me up.
