CHAPTER FOURTHE SUN WAS SETTING. I knew I wouldn't get much sleep, but I had to try. A sea of wars were coming my way and I had to be prepared. The forest was something else at night. All the creatures come out of hiding, they start hunting.
Near a lake, I found a spot to sleep at. The moon was reflecting on the water, silver and blurry. Looking at it from the water, the moon, it seemed different. It looked almost as if it was painted on the water. Following my instincts, I send one of my pets to go find the creature.
Getting off my horse, I search the ground for any footprints. I then heard low growls, it was Rey, my pet. His mouth and nose were covered in blood, and his eyes were gleaming. Motioning him to come to me he knelt at my feet. Squatting down I ran my fingers through his fur
"Good boy" I tell him. Feeling accomplished he jumps on me and nuzzles my neck.
I move myself and the horse to a tree nearby, the pets follow. Its hot out, even though summer isn't near, humid. Almost as if fog was planning to set, but I have no worries, Rey alone can kill hundreds. They were born to kill. Some strange creatures they are, but they only mean well. That is, if you're not in our way.
The first day was coming to an end. Finally. Six days. Six days until I get to see her again after 4 years. Those 4 years are something I can't ever get back, but I plan on making it up to her. I'll do whatever it takes to see the same smile that always made my day better. Closing my eyes I fell asleep to that thought.

WAKING UP I SAW FOG. It was all so quiet and all I could see was the gray fog. When I looked around me I couldn't see my pets or any of my belongings. Standing up, I tried to see if there was anything near me. I walked cautiously through the fog, hoping to find anything, but then I heard them.
The Sirens.
" Hades. Hades. Hades."
Their voices sultry and low. Whispering my name, pleading for me to come foreword. The fog was disappearing slowly and I could see them making there way to me. All three of them.
I turned around and started to run, my hands covering my ears. If I run long enough without hearing them I won't fall under their spell.
Run. Run. Run.
But they only seemed to get closer, their arms extending, reaching out to grab me. After what felt like 10 minutes of running I stopped, they were gone.
"Oh, our beloved Hades. Don't you know? We've already got you."
Searching for the voice, I turned around and came face to face with one of them. She gave me a wicked smile but her beautiful face blocked me from seeing pass it. They all clawed at me and I couldn't do anything but stare. Grabbing me by my arms and legs they carried me into the, now visible, lake.
"We're never letting you go."
They were already in my veins.
