— the Garden of EdenThe pomegranate had fallen out of his hand and onto the new blanket of snow. He was in such a hurry to prevent winter from getting close to him that he couldn't be bothered to pick it up.
Heaven had fallen out of his hand and onto the saintly world. When the angel picked the fallen fruit and ate it the Earth became hell. The children of the gods had begun to sin. Hell was being filled with toads, snakes, lions, snails, pigs, goats, and peacocks. Blood began to taint the pure snow, blizzards were beginning to form, tears were cascading and becoming oceans, cows began to shriek, and sins were becoming people. Babies were now being born into sins and the gods couldn't do anything but weep. The blizzard went on.
Now the angel didn't notice any of the chaos that was occurring how could she when the fruit was heaven? So she walked, she walked into the woods to find another pomegranate. At this point she was no longer an angel but a sinner, the first sinner. She came to a halt when she saw a figure of a man dressed in black standing in the middle of a snow covered plain. He made his way towards her and softly whispered into her ear. "Welcome to the land of the sinners," he said and the world became silent. The blizzard had ceased.
