THE CLOCK TICKS AND TIME FALLS, it's no longer a game. It was never a game, life isn't a game. For most of my life I didn't take much thought as to how I'd die or how long I'd live up to. When Persephone was taken from me these thoughts invaded my mind even more so when I stepped foot on RUINS. These thoughts then turned from how's into survive, to living up to my name. In the end I either fail or succeed, life or death. And that thought, as much as I loathe to admit it, terrifies me.

A clock, that clock isn't stopping. Tick tick tick. It's bouncing of walls, the room is pitch black. How did I get here?, I ask myself. I should be slaughtering that fox, I should be saving Persephone. I should- TICK TICK TICK the clock is ticking even louder this time. Time, something which I need and something which is fading. TICK TICK TICK. Time, clock, fall, Persephone, life, win, time, time, time. Death.

Incoherent thoughts are rushing through my whole being and they don't seem to want to end. I scream. My legs then start to move, I'm running and there seem to be no end to this dark room. I keep running and I know it's no use, I can't see. Then a light is cast upon me and I could finally see.

Mirrors. The walls that surround me are mirrors and all I can see is what I've been dreading to lay my eyes on, my reflection. There are bags under my eyes due to no sleep, there bloodshot, my eyes, my lips are twisted into a smile, a bloody smile. Blood, these hands are covered in blood as well as my neck. My neck which is covered with only a ring of blood, who's blood?

Does it stop here?, I ask myself. I know what I've done and I know what I'm capable of doing and thinking. Let me out of here! I scream, but what is here? I turn to find a place to escape from and I run towards every wall, pounding on them. Tick tick tick, time is still falling. My mind turns fuzzy and I find myself falling too. Before I'm completely unconscious I see a silhouette and I here a voice.

"Failure equals to death. Are you a failure Hades?", it said. Failure. Death.

Before I can say anything I'm pulled back into reality. I find myself on my knees, my arms stretched out to the ground, my hand holding me up. All I can here is my unsteady breathing, it sounds as if Ive been running for a long period of time. When I look up I'm back were I remember being, at the forest, facing the Teumessian fox.

Am I a failure? This thought comes back into my mind and with that thought running through my veins, I stand. We make eye contact for a second, the fox and I, and the battle begins.
