CHAPTER THREE
THERE WAS A SHARP PAIN ON MY ARM. Blood was running down my hands but it felt magnificent. The sword was stuck in me, it was dug into my skin, but just as quick as it came it left. It was nothing too painful, a mere prick. And before he could do any more damage to me, my sword met his throat. Seeing his lifeless body gave me such a rush, my mind was filled with the thought of red pools. I needed to kill again.
I aligned my foot to his already cut throat, and pressed hard enough that his head came off his body. Laughing, I kicked his head to his fellow 'friends'. In sync, they all screamed in rage as well as fear. Again, they attacked all at once, without putting much thought into it and that wasn't a surprise.
When you let your feelings take over, nothing good will ever come out of it. Especially in war, there are no feelings in war. There is only blood. You need to learn how to distance yourself from any emotions. Emotions are a matter of life or death. Don't let it be death.
The first gladiator to charge towards me got his stomach sliced opened. A dagger to the head was what the next one got. Pulling the small blade out, I quickly jabbed it into another gladiators neck. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and his blood was all over my face. He didn't even have enough time to cry out.
I then decided to call my for my pets.
"Rey! Hunter! Iris! Hera! Arrow! Kira! EPÍTHESI!
They launched, tearing at any flesh they could find. Pouncing, growling, teasing. You don't know what terrifying is until you get mauled by them. There is no louder or frightened scream then the one of a man being eaten alive.

Soon there were only 5 of us left.
"Well this was exciting! I'm afraid we will have to leave now." Oh, but everyone else has to die for there to be a winner. Before they had the slightest chance to disappear, I grabbed their leader by the throat.
I could feel his pulse, it was raising higher, I could hear it. His gladiators could only watch, my pets were keeping them still. They were all hopeless.
My hands gripped his throat tighter, his face turning scarlet. And his hands clawing at me, begging for release. I proceeded to grab his hair and flip him to face what was left of his army. Grabbing my second sword from my back, I pressed it against his neck. Silver, smooth, cold.
"I didn't intend to kill on my first day of traveling. But thank you for giving me the pleasure of doing so", I whispered in his ear.
Moving my sword to his bare stomach, I cut up his abs. He let out an ear-piercing scream. I aligned my sword to the middle of his stomach and inched it in slowly. His agonizing screams ran through my veins, I didn't want it to stop. Swiftly I took the blade out and pressed it to his neck again. Blood was coming out of his mouth, his body was going limp.
In one quick motion I cut his head off. Some of his blood was on my hands, I looked at his four men, they each looked at me in horror. I put my finger to my lips and licked his blood off of it.
"Not as savory as I imagined. Oh, how I hope royal blood will taste divine."
Killing them myself would be delightful, but it would also take time. I think its about time my pets play catch. Staring at all of them I said one word,
"Run."
Silly boys, you never run into a forest. I motioned my pets to chase after there toys. Getting on my horse, I started forward.
My queen is waiting after all.
