When I woke up it was still dark outside and Caine wasn't next to me, I got out of bed to go find him glancing at the clock on my way out the room which read 5:11 ..

"Caine" I yelled out of his bedroom door looking around .. When he didnt respond I decided to take a look around the house .. It was dark as hell in the house besides the glow from the moon.. It was obvious it was a straight bachelor's pad .. The floors were all made of marble, everything in the house was white, and the majority of the walls were glass .. I rubbed my arms as I caught goosebumps from the a/c kicking on ..

"Caine !!" I yelled again

"What?" I heard Caines voice come from behind me making me jump ..

"You scared the hell out of me" I said placing my hand over my chest ..

"Good" he said walking past me "Maybe I got rid of that attitude in the process" he said as he looked back at me smirking

"Shutup" I replied following him

He laughed grabbing my hand pulling me close behind him..

"Where was you at?" I asked

"Outside on the phone" he said nonchalantly "I had a issue to solve"

"At 5am ?" I questioned raising my eyebrows as he sat on the bed and pulled me into his lap ..

"Thats when I get the majority of my business, throughout the night .. junkies don't sleep" he said laying back as I sat up in his lap

"I know" I mumbled knowing all to well ..

My mom would be up all night sometimes in the streets while her 15 year old daughter was at home alone with random ass people she was in the living room smoking with while she ran out to get another hit .. Thank God I always locked my bedroom door because one night while she was gone some guy actually tried to get in .. he tried for about 15 minutes straight before my mom came home ..

"Mani" Caine hollered shaking me out of my trance ..

"Huh"

"What you was thinkin about ?" He asked lighting a blunt

"Do you know Angela Jones ?" I asked wondering was his crew the ones serving my mom

"Yeah, I know her .. why?" He asked

"She's my mom" I replied

Caines eyes shot to me like he was looking at a ghost ..

"Ang your mama ?" He asked

"Yeap" I nodded my head

"Damn, how long she been on that shit ?" He asked

"Since I was 15" I said shrugging

"How long you been workin at KOD?"

"About 2 years now"

"About how much you make?" He asked passing me his blunt

"Depends .. when niggas like you come in Im sure to leave with 10 g's or more .. any other day about 5 grand .. but celebrities come in all the time so I gets mine" I answered exhaling the smoke ..

"You like it?"

"I love the money, but I cant dance forever" I answered ..

"Would you consider leaving KOD, & workin somewhere else ?" He inhaled the blunt once again

"Like where?" I asked suspiciously

"Im opening up a club near by .. I need only the best" he answered running his hand through my hair ..

I stared at him before squinting my eyes and crawling out of his lap ..

"Where you goin ?" He asked sitting up

"Do I look like some hoe to you that could make you some good money, is that why Im here ?" I asked raising my voice

"Fuck naw Mani, I just asked .. get out your damn feelings !!" He said standing up

"I ain't in my damn feelings, Im just callin it like I see it !!" I answered folding my arms

"If you dont want to do it then don't .. Like I said I just asked .." he said sitting down in front of his 72 inch tv ..

I sat in bed for a few minutes as he watched tv and thought about what he said .. I just wasnt trying to get played stupid .. but if I'd be making more money then I'd be down for it ..

"How much you think I'd be getting ?" I asked breaking the silence

"A few G's more than you'd be getting at KOD .. plus .. As long as you mine you good !!" He answered never taking his eyes off the tv

"Yours ?" I asked

"Mine !!" he answered back
