2 Years Later
Lathan Anders Worthington could not be any happier than this moment. He fidgeted in his formal tux awaiting his bride to come out of the double doors of St. Joseph’s Chapel. If he had his way, he would’ve married her 2 years ago. The aftermath of Cerise’s kidnapping left him with a deep sense of unrest that he proposed to her the very next day. Waking up to her was the most exhilarating experience and he wanted all mornings to be the same with her in his arms. He already bought the perfect ring for the perfect moment. He woke up hours before she did, made her a breakfast tray and with a single white rose that accompanied a simple note.
“Will you marry me? Be mine Angel for the rest of my life?”
Happy tears fell from her soulful eyes and she agreed without hesitation. But knowing his angel wanted to prove something for herself, she requested that the wedding take place as soon as she graduates. Damn he would agree to anything for this girl who has become his world and his reason for living.
Now was the moment where he was going to finally claim her as his own; to bind her to him for all eternity. To begin their lives as one and for the whole world to know Cerise Morrigan is his to protect, cherish and to love always and forever.
The double doors opened and there she was in the loving arms of her father, walking towards him. She was a vision of beauty and elegance in her Monica Lhullier creation of bone ivory lace over taffeta silk in a flowing skirt. The one shoulder neckline brought out the smooth expanse of soft skin. A thin veil covered her, making it all the more exciting to un-wrap her. She was simply stunning.
As she drew near to her future, Cerise could not hold back the tears that were brimming from her eyelids. Thank goodness for waterproof make-up. She wished her mom was alive to witness her future unfold as she pledges eternal love and life to her beloved. Lathan looked very handsome in his tuxedo.
“Lathan.” Rodin handed over his daughter to this fine young man who is destined to make her happy. They shook hands and Lathan took her hand.
“Rodin” Lathan’s voiced cracked a little as he was overwhelmed with emotion.
As they faced the priest, he just had to say. “You look so beautiful Cerise.”
‘You’re not so bad yourself Mr. Worthington.” She blushed.
“Are you ready to become Mrs. Worthington?” Lathan asked.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.” Cerise said assuredly.
As they promised to love, respect and cherish each other, they were surrounded by people they love and hold dear. Nothing could have been more perfect than this moment where they were joined as one.

The wedding reception at The Milton’s was in full swing. They went through the motions of welcoming and thanking guests, photo ops and endless chatter. Lathan was itching to get his bride alone. He has waited patiently for 2 years and the waiting ends tonight. Right after the 1st dance as a couple, he whisked her away and headed up to the bridal suite. As soon as the elevator closes, he had her pinned against the wall and kissed her with all the hunger he felt over the years. Cerise was only happy to oblige. As soon as the ding sounded, signaling them to their floor they were all over each other tearing each other’s clothes as they walked towards the bedroom. A trail of silk and fine threads of clothing lay scattered on the floor. With her hair unpinned and spread across the pillows, she looked like a real angel.
“You’re so beautiful, Cerise. You have just made me the happiest man ever to walk the earth. I love you so much.”
“I love you more, Lathan. Thank you for patiently waiting for me; for respecting my wishes to finish college and for…”
Lathan silenced her with a passionate kiss. Cerise kissed him with all that she’s got, pouring all her emotions into that soul searing kiss. She bid him entrance into her mouth and their tongues explored each other’s heat. Lathan broke the kiss and nipped his way down to her neck, slowly moving south ward to the valley of her breast. Cerise was so aroused that her nipples pebbled and Lathan gave it the attention it was seeking. She moaned against his ears and that egged him on to lavish the other breast with equal loving. He poised his turgid length into her entrance, and looked at her eyes deeply, seeking for her consent. Cerise was a loss for words so she lifted her hips and Lathan had the answer.
“This will hurt, but I will make it better, angel.”
“You could never hurt me Lathan, at least not intentionally. Make me yours.”
And with this, he thrust deeply into her wet core, and made her his, now and forever.
“Angel of Mine.” He whispered.
