Summer love

Chapter 1

Selena's POV

Today is the last day of school before the summer holidays, and I'm so excited to visit Emma. It's going to be great. I really need to forget everything that happened this year, and with Ems, I hopefully will.

Our last day was today, so we could actually chill the whole time. During the short break, Demi and I decided to go outside, and there stood Brandon – my ex-boyfriend.

"Aww, Selena. You look great today. What do you think about us getting back together? Huh? Come over here," he said, and all his friends were laughing. He broke me so damn much. I took Demi's hand and went back inside. I hate him for saying that, but I'm glad I ignored him.

The last lesson began, and our class was counting down the last minute. Then the bell finally rang, everyone ran out, and Demi and I laughed and slowly went out.

My mom picked me up because she said she wanted to bring me to the train station right after school. I hugged Demi, and we said our goodbyes.

Justin's POV

Finally, we have holidays, and I'm thrilled that we won't have school for six weeks. Emma, one of my best friends, asked me and several other friends to come to her party today. She mentioned that her cousin Selena from LA will stay here for the whole six weeks visiting her. Emma is very famous at our school, so a lot of people will come to the party.

After school, I got ready and went to Emma's to help her and her mom get everything ready. Then we drove to the train station to wait for Selena.

When I heard two girls screaming very close to me and extremely loud, I knew she had arrived. It was Emma and... wow. This must be Selena. I can tell you that she is really beautiful.

"Justin? Ey Jus!" Emma said while laughing. I was still staring at Selena until I noticed that Emma, her mom, and Selena were laughing because of me. That's when I snapped out of my thoughts and realized that I was checking her out in front of everyone.

Selena's POV

When I arrived at the right station in Texas, I was scared because I couldn't find Emma. But it didn't take long until I saw her, and we both started screaming because we haven't seen each other for years.

After a long hug, she looked at the guy next to us who was staring at me. She and her mom laughed, so I did too. His name was Justin, and he was actually very cute. But I should stop thinking about boys. I will never find the right one, and I really don't want to anymore. I mean... sure I want, but every experience that I had with a boy wasn't a really good thing to remember.

I always get hurt and replaced. I'm not sure if I will ever try to get into a relationship with another boy for a long time. Anyway, back to the present.

Justin and Eva – my aunt – took my bags so Emma and I could fool around like we always did. I love her so much, and I missed her a lot. She always can make me feel better. With her, I can be myself, and even when we are together, we act a bit crazy, but that's our normal, lol.

Justin's POV

It was so nice with Selena. She is so beautiful inside and outside. She is so funny and kind, and she doesn't care about what other people think. I'm such a dork.

I should have at least hugged her by saying goodbye. But she could have a boyfriend or she could think that I'm going too fast. Hm... well, I should go to sleep and let's see what happens tomorrow.
