Chapter 22

Justin's POV

The woman keep talking to Jazzy and me. She was Jazzy's aunt. Her name was Jennifer and her daughters name was Sara.

There were some pretty girls here, but that doesn't matter to me, I have Sel. After bout an hour Jaxon had to go to sleep. So I brought him to bed. He laid there smiling at me.

We had lots of fun together this afternoon. "Night Jaxo." "Night Justy."

I turned off the lights and went back to the others.There was a man sitting on my chair. He looked up at me then stood up. Then he gave me a hug.

I was a bit confused but I was sure he was Jeremy, my dad. I didn't know how to react. I mean I'm actually quite furious on him because he left me and mom alone.

We had so many hard times and he didn't care at all. He made his new family, new children and got a new wife. My mom was there, alone. She had to handle with so much.

"Hey, Justin."

"Hi" I didn't know how to call him.

Sure he is my dad but he was never there.  There are other people in my life who would deserve that name more than him. So I will call him Jeremy I think. "You grew up very fast."

"Not actually, no. You just haven't been there watching me growing up." Maybe it was a bit mean but it was just the truth.

"You're quite furious with me, aren't you? I don't know what happened in your life Justin, and I'm sorry for not being there for you"

"It's over anyway. But why didn't you help us?" I asked.

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean? We have no money. I have to work every single day after school to get food into our plates. It doesn't even cover all the bills"

"But Justin, I sent you money every month. Your mom knows that." I was speechless, why didn't she say anything? Was he telling the truth?

"I didn't know that. I guess I'm just tired, sorry for being rude."

"It's okay, do you know where's your room? You can go rest a little" I nodded "good night Justin"

"Yeah, good night" I brought jazzy with me and put her to bed before going to my room.

"Night Justy" she said with the cutest voice I've ever heard.

"Night cutie."

"I love you." She added when I was about to go out of the room. It made me so happy. "I lovey you too."

Then I turned off the light and went up to my room. Jazzys room was between mine and Jaxons. We were all very close.

Selena's POV

I cared about Justin. But he didn't call me the hole day and I started to wonder. Did he give up on me? I really hope not. I miss him, the only thing I could think about was him, but I also caught myself thinking about Jacob.

Later that day Demi had left so I decided to call him. "Yes?"

"Hi Jacob, is Selena"

"Oh hi!" He answered.

"I just wanted to apologize for today, I was in a bad mood but it wasn't right to just let it all out on you"

"It's okay"

"It really isn't Jacob" I felt bad.

"Don't worry Sel. Everything is cool" he reassured me.

"Okay then, see you at school?"

"Yeah, see ya!"

"Goodnight Jacob"

"Night" then he hung up.

It seemed as if he still was angry about it all. Hopefully I can talk to him tomorrow in person, try to make things right. I needed to decide between him or Justin. My week was not easy, I hope tomorrow I have a good day.
