It's been a month sense I have asked about the nether portal, and things have gone pretty smoothly. Dante is like a brother to me now, I pretty much know everyone in the village also. I have gotten closer to Lady Aphmau as well. There is just one worry though. My due date to go back to O'khasis is in 4 days.
I watch from Aphmau's kitchen window, as the clouds move in the beautiful blue sky. "Such a pretty day," I hear Zoey say. I nod at her words. It was pretty. "Anyway I should be going. Aphmau is taking to long and I can't wait any longer. I am growing impatient."
"Calm down Tracey. She had some matters to attend to with her head guard. Actually I was kind of hoping you would like to come with me to figure something out. Would you do that?" I sigh before nodding.
He leave Aphmau's house and walk towards the guard station. Once we get inside I see Aphmau talking to Laurence in the back part of the station. I follow Zoey past them and up the ladder.
Once we reach the top I see Laurence's room door opened, but the one next to it was closed. Zoey gestured for me to go knock on the door. I nod. Zoey goes back downstairs. I stop in front of the door before knocking gently on the wooden door.
Not a sound came from this guards room. I didn't know Garroth that well so I wouldn't really know what to say. If anything I would think he doesn't even know I have lived in this village.
"I have come to help you Garroth. Just open up the door and let me help." I waited for a few minutes before finally I gave up. He wouldn't give in. I walk over to the ladder and slide down it. Once I get to the floor I heard Aphmau's voice.
"So? Did he say anything?" I shake my head. Her face fell and Laurence took her outside to talk with her. "So he still wouldn't talk. I don't know how we are going to get through to him." I sigh. Zoey was right. Aphmau, she has been trying a lot to help him, but still nothing.
"Well, I am going to walk around the village. Maybe I will stop by later to see how Aphmau is holding up." Zoey nods in agreement before I walk out the front door.
I ended up finding myself standing at the guard tower by the front gates that overlooks the ocean. I watch the blue waves roll in out on shore, and the cotton white clouds dancing in the sky. The warm breeze coming from the hot summer sun. It was amazing out, almost.
I suddenly start to stand up as I see a large ship making its way toward the docks. The sails were an all to familiar cyan blue color. "Oh no," was all I said before I got down the guard tower and sprinted toward the docks. Once I got to the top of the stairs my eyes widen. There talking to Aphmau, was Katelyn the Fire Fists.
"If I go down there she will notice me! She will ask and my mission will be-.' I stopped myself when I saw Aphmau nod her head and they start towards the stairs. I back up behind a tree to hide myself.
I watch as they go into Aphmau's house, while Laurence stands outside with Lady Katelyn's guards. I needed to know what was going on. I grab a small rock and chuck it up at Laurence. It him in the back. He turns around and I flag him down.
He runs down the stairs and behind the tree. "What is going on? What is a Jury of Nine member doing here?" Laurence stayed quiet for a second. "To be honest I don't have a clue. She said that she had some business to talk to her about. Don't really know what that is supposed to mean."
I shake my head. "I don't see why Katelyn would come here," I say to myself but someone else heard. "How do you know that was Katelyn?" I look up to see Laurence giving me a stone cold look.
Luckily there was a noise coming from Aphmau's house and Laurence turned around. Once he did I jumped up and grabbed a branch, climbing the tree to hide myself. Laurence looked around before taking off to Aphmau's house.
Once he was gone I jumped down. I watched as Katelyn walked down to her ship. I had to do something to get her attention. It then hit me.
I summoned a small dagger and used my blue flame to light it on fire. After I was done I threw it in the sand in front of her before she would take another step. She would know by the fire who it was.
I watch as she looks at the knife before looking around. I smile before backing away.~~Midnight~~
I watch as Katelyn leaves her boat, and onto the sand. I was about to go down there before a disturbance behind me. I stay put as I watch an all to familiar lady run past me and towards Katelyn. I watch as they stand in front of one another.
Conversation was made between them before Lillian pulled out her scythe type weapon. I take action and pull out my sword, and putting a black mask over my face. I run down to the sand quickly taking place behind Lillian.
"Ahh, and who might this be?" Asks Lillian turning her body sideways to look at me. "Oh don't be stupid Lillian. Who thinks of taking a weapon out against someone who is stronger then them," I say holding the end of my blade to her neck.
"Even if Lillian wanted to hurt me, she wouldn't have a chance," I hear Katelyn say. In the blink of an eye Katelyn was next to me, and part of the hill behind us was blown apart. "I won't miss next time Lillian. Think next time before you're actions."
"Will be noted," Lillian responds. I put down my sword as Lillian takes off bak into the village some where. "So it was you. The one who had thrown the knife?" I put my sword in its sheath before looking up at the hill to see movement. "I think someone had seen our little show."
