Chapter Nine: Missing

Those crystal blue eyes. The flowing brown hair. The girl stood in front of me with a bright smile before it disappeared. Instead she closed her eyes and opened them to now reveal ruby red eyes.
A wicked smile creeped upon her lips. A red glow went from the top of her head to her feet slowly changing her into red armor. He hair now having tiny streaks of red here and there.
A red sword appeared in her right hand. She laughed wickedly. She stepped in front of me leaning over to my ear, her warm breath tickling my neck. "Help me," she whispered.

I sat up looking quickly around with wide eyes. I felt sweat drip down my head. I then realized I was on the ground under a night sky. I take deep breaths trying to calm myself. I heard a groan behind me. I turn around to see Aphmau slowly waking up.
       I rush to her putting a gently hand on her shoulder. She opens here eyes blinking a few times. She slowly sits up looking around before meeting my eyes. "Laurence?" She asked confused.
       "Ya it's me." She looks behind me then here eyes widen in realization. "Wh-where is Garroth?" She asks. I turn around to not see the blonde haired guard laying in the grass.
       "What?! There is no way!" I say in disbelief. Aphmau gets up with me looking at our surroundings. "They took him. . . didn't they?" Aphmau ask. I take a deep breath before nodding. I stand there thinking about why they could have taken him.
"Let's head back to Phoenix Drop so no one gets worried. We will pack some new supplies there and head out to try and find some information about those people and why or if they took Garroth," I say as I walk Aphmau to our horses.
"Your right. Let's head back," she says mounting her horse. I mount my horse before we head off towards Phoenix Drop.

Kalla's POV:

I watched as the two people mount there horses and ride off. "The dumb knight messed up and brought those two here to my village! I told him it was a bad idea and now they think I'm apart of his stupid plan!"
I walked out from behind the trees and to my cave again. I walked towards my stone table seeing all my herbs still untouched and sitting right where I left it.
"We got what we wanted, so we are leaving," I hear a familiar deep voice say. I groan and turn around. "Why do I have to follow you?! I did what you asked so now you leave me alone and head back to where ever you came from. That prince of yours is no use to me or your plan," I finish organizing some of my herbs.
I hear footsteps coming towards me before they stop. "Do you remember what I told you. . . how I said this prince could help you get the village you always wanted. The power you always searched for?" I hear his voice whisper in my ear.
The flash back of the first time I met him flashed into my head. I turn my head to the right, meeting his red eyes. "I remember. Alright, I'll help, but if it goes down hill in not the one taking the blame. I will get what I want! And not even you in the end can stand in my way! Got it," I say in a stern voice.
"Heh, let's get moving," he chuckled walking out of the cave. His black cloak swaying behind him as he goes.
I start to pack up my herbs and potions carefully. I didn't really know where we were heading off to, but if I had to guess it would be the prince's home. The power house, O'khasis.

I know I knew short chapter! BUT I did this for a good reason. I guess you could see this less as a chapter and more as a longer sneak peak of what will happen next! Anyway see ya in the next CHAPPY!
