Chapter Eight: Wolf Tribe Village

       I went back to our horses to wait for Garroth. After a bit he showed up. "What are you doing here so early?" He asks. I smile and mount my horse. "Just follow me, and keep quiet I will explain on the way."

       We sat on our horses in the trees watching. . . waiting. "There is nothing here," Garroth whispers. We sit for a little longer before riding off back to Phoenix Drop.
       Once we reach Phoenix Drop we go to the guard station for a small meeting. Aphmau, Garroth, Brian, and Dante were all there. "So what did you guys for out?" Dante asks a bit of concern in his voice.
       "Well, when we went to Meteli I talked to The Lord. He told me that there was a Jury of Nine member named Tracey the Swordsmen. She was good at her job, but she disappeared then reappeared after a good amount of time. Once she had returned she was different."
       I looked around at everyone's expressions, but Aphmau looked almost disturbed. "Aphmau?" I ask. She looked up at me still thinking. "That name. I have seen her. She was here and had a confrontation with Katelyn, and Lillian. Once I went after Lillian, I ran into her. Literally."
       "Katelyn? She is a Jury member. She must know her if they didn't fight, right?" I say as I look to everyone of them. "Possibly, but where is Katelyn?" Garroth's says.
       "Right here." We hear someone say at the doorway of the guard station. "It's true I did know Tracey the Swordsmen, but not the one we are looking for. This one. . . this one is much different." I saw honesty in her eyes.
       "I have more info. I don't think it has anything to do with Tracey though." Everyone looks to me as to say "go on".
       "I saw a suspicious lady walk into a herb shop. I eavesdropped on there conversation. It was quit interesting. Apparently that girl had been in there only a few days ago and got the same kind of herbs. He also accused her of having someone else hurt over by the wolf village by Bright Port."
       "Her name was Kalla. We went to the wolf village, but it looked empty," Garroth stated.
       "It doesn't seem like anything having to do with Tracey so I would try to find something else." Everyone agrees so the meeting is dismissed.

~~3 Days Later~~

       It has been three days sense we starts to search for Tracey, and still nothing. We decided on going to check up on that information we got about the wolf tribe village so we are going to go check it out once the sun sets.
Once I got all packed up I ran to the front gates as it neared sun set. I mounted my horse that Kiki had so kindly brought to us.
       I hear the clanging of hooves behind me. I turn my horse around to see Aphmau, and Garroth riding up on there horses. As they ride up next to me I turn my horse so we are facing the front gates.
       "Ready?" Garroth asks. Aphmau, and I nod. Aphmau rode off first with Garroth, and I following. Once we got close we dismount our horses and tie them to a tree lim. We walk towards the wolf tribe village and watch to make sure no one is around.
       After a bit there was nothing, but a small light coming from the wolf tribes cave. "Alright, split up and stay alert," Aphmau said as she started to walk towards the wolf village.
       I headed straight for the cave with the dimmed light. I slowly turn the corner walking in. Once I did I saw a stone table with herbs and potions. As I walk closer I notice 2 torches. One on one end of the wall and the other torch on the other wall.
       Once I get to the back of the shallow cave I see a rope tied to a metal hook on the cave wall. As I follow the rope I see blood stains along with it slowly tearing. I looked as if someone was picking at it.
       As I back away an head towards the stone table I notice the herbs. They were similar to the one that was at the store. I look to see a stone bowl with a greenish water in it. I hear some sort of movement. I quickly look up to see Aphmau.
       "Anything?" She asks. I nod as she walks towards me. "There is blooded rope over there, and a bunch of herbs and potions here," I say as Aphmau reaches the stone table.
       "Well that's interesting. I didn't really find anything in the homes, as Garroth just went to go take a look around the perim-," she was cut off by yelling.
       Aphmau and I both look towards the entrance and run outside the cave. Once we get outside the cave I see Garroth, and a dark figure. I saw Garroth's blue sword, and the dark figure had a large red sword.
       The dark figure was wearing a long black cloak. I unsheathe my sword and run at the person. The dark figure looked at me before jumping back. I stood a little in front of Garroth, looking at the figure.
       The dark figure was a person. They were wearing a black mask that went over there mouth, and there eyes were ruby red. The person was muscular and looked mighty strong.
       "Who are you?!" I ask half yelling. The person stood up straight before taking one step back. I then heard a noise behind me. I turn around to be met by crystal blue eyes. My eyes widen before everything went dark.
