"Nice to see you, Mr. Whitfield. Your client is waiting in your office." Mr. Rodem said once I came into the building.
I nodded my head at him.
"Who's so important that I have to come into office on my day off?" I questioned him with my face scrunched up in confusion.
"You'll see. Just know that he's one of our top clients and you must treat him with respect." He replied back making me shake my head.
They're always giving me the top clients or should I see most difficult clients. I guess that's why I'm one of their top workers. I can always handle the difficult cases.
I nodded my head at him.
"I'm gonna get right to work sir." I said to him heading towards my office.
"That's why I like you, Mr.Whitfield. You always get straight to business." Mr. Rodem said making me wave him off.
I quickly walked to my office, trying to avoid Monica who's office is right across from mine. Once I seen that the coast was clear I sneaked into my office.
"You have a very nice office, Mr. Whitfield." A slightly familiar voice said making me turn around.
I turned around and my eyes nearly popped out of my head.
"What are you doing here?" I asked glaring at him.
"I need some law issues that I need worked out and you just so happen to be one of the top defense attorneys out." He explained to me.
I groaned shaking my head.
"I can't work for you." I said to him.
"You can and you will." Jayden said folding his arms over his chest.

"I've been keeping track of you..." Jayden said putting his feet on my desk.
I gave him a look and he put his feet down.
"Why?" I asked him with my eyebrows raised.
I tapped my fingers along my leather chair as I watched him closely. I don't trust him at all. I honestly feel like kicking his ass but I have to keep this professional.
"Just to make sure you're treating my baby right." He said letting out a chuckle.
"You wish..." I mumbled shaking my head.
"I heard that you two are married and have a child on the way. Congrats, I just hope the baby doesn't end up like you. Full of anger and abandonment issues." He stated with a cocky grin on his face.
That struck a nerve. I can feel my anger rising.
"We didn't come here to talk about my family. We need to discuss what's going on with you." I mentioned with a vein poking out my forehead.
"Maybe you should take classes for your anger issues." Jayden said.
"I already tried now can you discuss what your problem is or leave?" I questioned him.
"My ex-manager is trying to sue me because she thinks I didn't pay her the right amount of money when she was my manager. I need you to stop her." Jayden explained to me.
I nodded my head in understanding.
"I'll see what I can do. I'm gonna need her information so I can speak to her." I said to him.
He nodded his head and gave me a piece of paper.
"That's all for today, I'll call you later to set up another appointment." I stated.
