Chapter 15 ☆

C H A P T E R 15☆

Dacian☆

"Are you still mad at me about yesterday?" I questioned Aubrey as she sat in a chair on the other side of the hospital room.

"I wasn't mad. I just didn't like how you pushed him away." She told me honestly.

I can admit I was kind of harsh but he can't just expect for everything to be alright when he shows up out of nowhere.

"Well that's what happens when you care too late." I replied back to her.

She nodded her head. "I understand."

"Good, now come over here. You being all the way over there annoys me." I told her making her chuckle.

She came over to me and sat on my lap. She then snuggled her head into my chest.

I put my hand on her belly and slightly rubbed it.

In a couple of months the baby is gonna be here. It seems like it's going by so fast and I can't wait. I'm excited to be a father but I feel like everything's a mess right now. Hopefully in a few months everything will get better.

I watched as Aaliyah laid peacefully. I just wish she would wake up. Losing her is losing apart of me so I pray that she wakes up.

My phone started ringing making me reach in my pocket to answer it.

"Hello?" I asked answering my phone.

"Where the hell have you been?" Mr. Rodem barked into the phone.

I groaned rubbing my hands over my head.

"My sister's in the hospital so I haven't been coming to work." I informed him.

"I'm sorry your sister's in the hospital but I still need you in the office. You're one of my top defense attorneys so you being here hurts this firm a lot." He explained to me.

" I know, I just want to be here for my sister." I told him honestly.

"I hope she gets better but I'm gonna need you to come into work." He stated making me shake my head.

I was about to say no but I would probably get fired or something.

"Okay, I'll be right in." I told him making Aubrey look at me.

"Good, see you when you get here." He told me.

He hung up and I slipped my phone back in my pocket.

"You have to leave?" Aubrey asked.

"You know it. I better get going before he fires me." I said to her.

She nodded her head in understanding.

"I'll just stay and watch your sister. You can come pick me up later." She said to me.

I smiled at her, pecking her lips twice before getting up.

"If anything happens call me." I told her making her nod her head.

"Got it." She replied back.

"Love you." I said to her.

"Love you more." She replied back.

I grabbed my jacket before heading out of the hospital.

I don't want to leave Aaliyah but at least Aubrey's there...

"I don't have time for you today." I growled angrily as I walked past Monica.

She has a flirtatious smile on her face.

I walked towards my office and heard her heels clicking right behind me.

"We need to have a little talk." She stated coming into my office right after me.

I sat my briefcase onto my desk and then sat down in my chair.

I didn't even want to come into work today so I'm a little angry about that.

"Can you please just leave me alone?" I asked her.

I rubbed my fingers along my temples.

"No, what do I have to do to make you keep those photos to yourself?" She questioned coming over and sitting on my desk.

Any other day I would've just nudged her off of it but I'm really not in the mood now.

"Nothing, I was just trying to get you to leave me alone now leave." I stated staring into thin air.

She gave me a look like she couldn't believe I was letting her off that easy.

"Are you sure?" She asked putting her hand on the top button of her dress.

"I'm sure." I said plainly.

"I feel like you're lying for some reason so I'm just gonna give you a reason not to send the boss my photos." She said starting to unbutton her dress.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked her getting up and was about to walk away before she stood up in front of me.

"I'm giving you what you've wanted the entire time." She said practically ripping her dress off.

There she stood naked right in front of me.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm a married man now put your dress back on." I said picking up her dress and throwing it at her.

Her face scrunched up like she didn't just understood what I just said.

"Did you here me? Put on your dress now!" I barked making her jump.

She looked at me with wide eyes like she was scared of me or something.

"All I want is you..." She said lowly making me shake my head.

"Get the hell away from me." I said through clenched teeth.

Instead of leaving she basically jumped on me and wouldn't let go.

"Let go of me!" I shouted pulling her off of me.

"No, you're mine." She said wrapping her arm around my neck and her legs around my waist.

"Just stop." I said pushing her off of me roughly.

All I heard was a loud bumping noise and then I looked down to see her passed out.

I didn't mean to throw her that hard. I mean she is pretty little so if I pushed her that would be like me punching her.

"Are you okay?" I asked her instantly bending down to help her.

She's not conscious but I can tell she's still breathing.

I picked her up and laid her on the couch I have in my office.

My head is literally spinning right now.

When she wakes up I already know she's gonna tell my boss everything and then my life is gonna be over.

I started pacing back and forth.

I'm not gonna have a job to support the baby and us. I'm probably gonna get sent to jail. This is terrible, very terrible.

I have to leave. I have to get my stuff and leave.

I didn't even bother grabbing my suitcase or even taking my phone.

I just left.
