Anyway, thanks again for the reads! I hope you enjoy, you guys are awesome!

Take it away Frisk....

------------------------------------

Frisk stared at the thing. A huge gelatinous being towered in front of her. It was a slimy white color, and it's skin seemed to pulse and twitch. The monstrosity almost had the vague shape of many dogs. It was a sick thought, but it looked like tons of dogs had been melted and then stuck together. Strange groaning sounds escaped from the creature, although Frisk couldn't tell where it's mouth was.

Frisk almost wanted to throw up just looking at it. It sickened her beyond words. She could hear Flowey retching next to her. Hearing him like that almost made Frisk want to laugh. She had no idea why, it wasn't like anything was funny. The stress has finally cracked me, she thought. I'm going insane. Frisk was basically walking around in a haze. Nothing in this lab was humane, it was hard to believe that this was the same world as Snowdin and Waterfall. It was hard to believe that those things even happened in Frisk's life. It felt like a whole different story.

Then Frisk saw more of the white things emerging from the darkness. They didn't look the same as the first one that was right in front of Frisk. They all reminded Frisk of some of the monsters she had seen around the underground. They were all the pale white color and they all fidgeted, making strange and agonized moans.

One reminded her of a shyren Frisk had seen in Waterfall from a distance. Flowey had told her the name after. Another looked like some vegetoids joined together. There were more that came too, but it was too much, too horrible to look at, so Frisk stopped looking at them all and focused back on the first one.

"How do we protect ourselves from these things?" Frisk asked Flowey.

"I have no idea Frisk," he said. "I don't even know what the heck these things are. "I--eurgh," He retched again and Frisk giggled. He shot her an annoyed look.

Frisk looked back up at the dog monster. It came closer and closer. Frisk closed her eyes tight and covered her face. She didn't want to see it come for her.

After awhile Frisk looked up again cautiously. Nothing had happened. What was taking so long? The dog mix was towering over her, but not moving. When it saw her lift her head, it groaned. It's moans almost sounded like words. Frisk craned her neck to try and make them out.

"A....ml....gm....ates....." The thing moaned.

"Amalgamates?" Frisk asked. "Is that what you are?"

The amalgamate made a faint approving noise, telling Frisk that she had guessed right.

"Did Alphys do that to you?" asked Frisk again. "What are you? Are you going to hurt us?" The amalgamates said nothing, but they turned and started walking down one of the hallways. Frisk made a split second decision and followed them.

"Frisk! What are you doing!?" screeched Flowey disbelievingly.

"Just trust me Flowey," said Frisk. "I have a good feeling about this. Besides, if they wanted to hurt us, wouldn't they have done it by now?"

"Maybe, but they could also be leading us into a trap, or right to Alphys herself."

Frisk just shrugged at Flowey's negativity and kept walking. They kept walking in relative darkness. Frisk's eyes strained to make out as much as she could in her surroundings. As they walked, more and more of the amalgamates disappeared. Frisk never saw them actually leave, but she would turn around and when she looked back for them, they were gone. They seemed almost to melt away back into the darkness. Soon the only amalgamate left was the dog one.

It seemed to have wanted her to follow it, because it wasn't doing anything to stop her from following it, and if Frisk fell a little too far behind, it would slow down a little until she caught back up. Even though it moved with kind of a jerky glide, it was still pretty fast, and Frisk's leg was still bothering her.

Finally it stopped. It seemed to be a small door. "Does this lead out of the lab?" Frisk asked the amalgamate.

It seemed to nod it's being slightly in answer. "One more question before I go," asked Frisk. "Are all of you prisoners here?" The dog amalgamate nodded once more. "I'm sorry," said Frisk. "Thank you so much for leading us out of here. I promise you, I will come here again and free you all. It's the least I can do for all you have done for me already." The creature made a happy groan and then glided back the way they had come until it melted into dark.

Slowly, Frisk cracked open the small door. She would have to crawl through it. She put Flowey around her waist instead, and he wrapped around like a belt. Frisk peeked through the crack in the door frame. The door seemed to lead out of the lab from the back. The only problem was that there wasn't much cover to hide behind. Frisk would have to make a run for it.

"Someone might be patrolling outside," said Frisk. It was just the weird paranoid thing that Alphys would do. They couldn't take any chances. They had to hurry up soon though too. It wouldn't be too much longer until someone came for one of them and found Frisk and Flowey gone. Frisk was kind of surprised it hadn't happened yet already. It was hard to tell how long it had been.

Frisk looked out and didn't see anyone.

"Ready?" she whispered to Flowey. "I'm going to run in three...two...one."

Frisk pushed through the door as fast as she could and bolted away from the back wall. She would have to go around the side of the lab to get to the nearest cover, but unfortunately, that would also make it easier for someone to spot her.

Frisk had to squint in the sudden brightness of Hotlands. She had been trapped in darkness for so long, her eyes burned and she could barely see. Just as she was about to make it behind a pile of rocks, her vision sharpened and she saw that she was right, someone was patrolling outside of the lab.

Frisk saw Undyne by the entrance. She was turning around towards Frisk. Frisk saw a glint of her golden yellow eye as she turned to her. Heart pounding, she dived behind the rocks. She heard Flowey make a sound of discomfort, but she ignored him for now. She looked through a crack in the rocks at Undyne, eyes wide, waiting for her to run over to her to slit her neck, or to run in and get Alphys.

Surprisingly, she did neither. Frisk stared at her not daring to move even a centimeter. Petrified, Frisk barely took a breath. Undyne just stared at where Frisk was hiding for a long time, with a glint in her eye. Surely Undyne had seen them. How could she not have? She would have at least heard them and come to investigate the sound. What was she doing?

Then, Undyne turned and started patrolling the other side of the lab. Frisk took a shaky breath in and out. All the adrenaline that had been rushing through her body drained away, leaving Frisk tired, weak, and in pain.

Frisk swallowed, waiting to regain her breath before she asked Flowey, "Where do we go from here?"

"I don't know," said Flowey. "No place seems safe right now. Let's just go wherever we can. Somewhere we can rest up. Let's rest for a second though. Not too long, word will be out soon enough that we've escaped."

Frisk nodded in agreement. "Can you just keep an eye out for a sec?" she asked. Then she lay down on the warm ground behind the pile of rocks, and closed her eyes.
