Hi, it's me, temoamelia, the writer of this story. I just wanted to say before I start this chapter, is that what happened with Chara and all that stuff back in the beginning that is going to be explained in this chapter, it's what I think would have happened. I made up my own backstory thing for this story, so even if it's based kind of off another one, I used some stuff from regular Undertale, and I added some of my own story to it. I hope that you don't mind it too much. Enjoy the story anyways, and thanks for reading. :)

"Okay, where to begin?" said Flowey. "I guess I'll start from the very beginning. We seem to have a lot of time, so if you don't mind, I can tell you the long story. It will explain everything to you. I won't have any secrets from you. Is that okay?"

"Yes Flowey of course. You have no idea how grateful I am to you for being able to trust me this much. Please, start your story."

Flowey laughed a little. "I don't know why you're so excited Frisk. My story isn't that exciting or special. Just painful for me I guess I just don't like talking about it, or knowing who I am."

"Who are you?" asked Frisk.

Flowey laughed again.

"I'm getting to that. Jeez. Anyways, this happened a long time ago, before even the first human fell down here. I wasn't always a flower you know. I was born as Prince Asriel Dreemurr, son of the king and queen, Toriel and Asgore Dreemurr."

"Toriel was the queen?" asked Frisk. "Why isn't she still at the castle? And you are the prince? I thought you were dead! How-"

"Just give me a sec Frisk!" said Flowey. "Let me tell my story and you will learn everything you need to know. You can ask questions after if you still have them,"

"This is like school," muttered Frisk jokingly, but let Flowey continue his story.

"So anyways, I used to be like them, look like them and everything." He sighed. "It was nice. I miss having a body."

Frisk looked like she wanted to interrupt, but before she could he said, "Ah, hold on a sec, you'll know why I'm not like that anymore later. Patience."

Flowey turned and stared straight ahead, and then continued his story.

"So anyways, I was the price of the Underground. Everyone was happy and cheerful, innocent. Then one day, I was walking around a little outside of the Ruins like I did every day. I liked to explore, and I took walks daily. I was passing under the mountain cliff when I saw someone lying on the ground right underneath the hole from the surface. I ran over to them. It was a human, the first one anyone underground had ever seen. Everyone who was alive when monsters were first trapped had died. The human looked a lot like you Frisk. They were probably about the same age, with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. You look like you could be family. Anyway, they were lying on the ground, not moving, barely breathing. I was so scared, I had no idea what to do. So I picked them up as best I could, and I helped them back to the castle. It was a long way, but we made it. We lay the human in one of our spare beds, and we nursed them back to health. They had broken quite a few bones in the fall, but the royal scientist was quite a help. Gaster was able to help them heal. We learned that the human's name was Chara, and that she had fallen to the Underground accidentally. No one wanted to tell her that she wouldn't be able to get back out again, but one day she heard my mom and dad talking about it. She wasn't very upset, which was kind of strange, but we were all just so relieved that she wouldn't hate us. She became a part of our family. The Underground was happy for many years. Chara and I grew up together, and became best friends. It seemed that nothing could go wrong in the world."
