Chapter 13: Hospital...AGAIN?

I woke up in the hospital. It's dark outside now. I look up and see Tamaki sleeping on the chair. What happened? I try to sit up, but my body is too stiff. It's really hard to think right now. All I remember is finding out that Tamaki lied about the love note.

"(y/n)! You're finally awake." Tamaki sits up quickly and hugs me.

"Uh...What happened?" I ask.

"I don't know. Yesterday at school, you totally blacked out. I drove you here as soon as possible and called your mom. She was here earlier, but I told her that I could stay with you tonight."

I'm still a little in shock at all of this. I start feeling dizzy again. The doctor comes into the room. The same doctor from a while back.

"Hello, (y/n). Your blood work is spectacular and your vitals are fine. I believe you had a simple black out from either stress, dehydration, or lack of sleep. You may be released soon." The doctor walks out of the room.

"Well, that was awfully quick." Tamaki chuckles.

"Why did you stay here with me?" I ask him while crossing my arms.

He looks at me with dazed eyes, "Because I was worried about you, of course. After all, you are my girlfriend."

I stay quiet for awhile. I don't have the strength to argue with him. Besides, what's the point of it anymore? I wait for my mom to check me out of the hospital.

"Oh yeah. I know this may be a bad time to bring this up, but you owe Kyoya even more now." Tamaki explains.

"That greedy bastard..." I murmur.

"Hey. That greedy bastard is the one who saved your life. If it weren't for him, something bad could've happened to you." He says.

"I guess, but it feels like no one does any favors for me. Only when I'm unconscious." I say.

"Mm."

"Hm?" I ask.

"Ah, nothing. Just thinking." He says.
